Chudzinksi hired as Cleveland Head Coach
Jan 10 2013 10:13 PM | hihosilver in Carolina Panthers
The Browns hauled their coaching search to Arizona and back. They talked to high-profile college coaches, NFL assistants and a fired pro coach who took a team to a Super Bowl.
None of them was hired.
Instead, Rob Chudzinski became their pick.
With no experience as a head coach at any level, Chudzinski was hired Thursday night by the Cleveland Browns, the team he cheered for as a kid. This is Chudzinski's third stint with the team, but this time around he's the guy in charge.
Chudzinski, who spent the past two seasons calling plays as Carolina's offensive coordinator, is the Browns' sixth full-time coach since 1999 and 14th in team history.

Wish the dude the best of luck. He deserves the opportunity.
Jake Delhomme was the best QB we ever had at one point in time...
LOL at the morons who think Cleveland is a well run organization
Rapistburger would have suffice.
But in all reality, RR is on borrowed time so we all better get used to Cam needing to learn an entirely new system sooner rather than later.
If we do manage to snag Norv, which I highly doubt, and Rivera is fired next year, it would make sense that one of the two, the OC or DC takes over for the rest of the year. If it's an end-of-year firing, guess who will be the next HC??
Yeah, whomever Gettleman friggin decides to hire. It's not an auto-promote for anyone, regardless. Have some faith, we're moving in the right direction. Wish Chud the best elsewhere, but he's gone, and that's that. Let's see how our FO reacts before we all jump ship.
this.
i thought the point of keeping RR was for continuity etc. half the damn coaching staff is fired. too many new faces are going to make synchronization and chemistry a little harder.
hate to say, but get your tin foil hats ready for the first part of the season again.
GO Chargers! uh, i mean Panthers!

I'd take all "Norv in Charlotte" stories with a grain of salt right now.
