Yup, Im not surprised by this move at all. Hes nothing but someone who racks up a bunch of tackles after 4-5 yards gainer. Hes no Will Witherspoon or Thomas Davis.

Probably a good move. James Anderson is a smidge overrated by some of our fans. Hate to see him go though

I can't find his contract details anywhere.

His Bonus was 4 million. So whatever is left of that will be accelerated.

I hate to see Anderson go bc he is a solid player but I like that Gettleman is setting the tone for this team. Average outside linebackers aren't going to be paid like great ones. He's talked about setting a standard for what each position will be paid...and he's backing that up. Hurney paid "core" guys tons of money no matter what position they played.
