Al Holcomb LB Coach

Panthers hired former Giants assistant coach Al Holcomb as their linebackers coach. Google Holcomb from last season's SB. Great story.

especially when around this time next year, when rivera's fired and gettleman's filling the coaching staff, he'll already have a linebackers coach to start off

Go Leopards!
This guy just got a helluva promotion!
Yeah he sure did. Good for him, now let's hope he can coach.
Will he be moving his trailer down here?
(mwahahahaha)
Could Gett have been at the heart of the Warren Belin firing so that he could put in his guy?
Just saying.
Motel 6. They leave the light on for you.
I was thinking the exact same thing..
Belin and the other coaches were let go before Gettleman was named GM.
I knew you were going to say that, but not by long. Just because it wasn't official doesn't mean that Gettleman didn't have his hands in it.
I'm not much into the tinfoil hat stuff.
I wouldn't bet on Gettleman having a heavy hand here. I figure he just went to Rivera and said "hey, this guy's good; why don't you interview him" and he did.
This is not true at all.
