Between 2008-2010, Mike Pollak was the 8th worst offensive guard in football.

Really, Panthers.com?
We also have to remember that this staff is more about teaching than we are used to. They may be able to improve his technique
Looks like a cheap, solid sign. Protection was key on Indy so I have no doubts about his pass protection.
If the guy could work for Peyton to get time back there... when Peyton coudln't/didn't move... I think this is pretty good.
I like it. Always good to bring in experience on the o-line.

I'm hoping Gary Williams can come back from his injury and be the player that the coaching staff hopes he can be.
That's a very solid signing... good job FO!

Gotta protect Cam before anything...might as well poach Indy's talented OLine now that Peyton's out the door.

You can't complain with us signing someone off the Ravens D and Indy OLine . . . that's how championship teams are built . . .

We just need a solid CB and some help on the DLine still . . . . let's see where we'll end up with those 2 positions . . . .

Whiney fan: OMG, we aren't doing anything in FA and all the good ones are gone!!!!!!!!!

Voice of reason: We just picked up a guard in the draft...........

Whiney Fan: We better have not paid too much for him, now we can't sign anyone else!!!!!

Voice of reason: Not a problem, it was a solid signing.

Whiney Fan: That was over 10 minutes ago, when are we going to sign someone else before they are all gone!!!!!!

Voicee of reason: Shakes head and walks away..........................

Looks to me like everyone's responses are positive...except for your's.
Honestly i like him more for his pass blocking then his run blocking, maybe Cam can step up in the pocket now without getting the guards pushed back into him.

Haven't seen this anywhere else btw.

Person should be on it by tomorrow night.

Sooner, if he can re-tweet it.
Excellent signing, this guy must have been pretty good in pass protection to hang on to a starting job in Indy for so long.

William Middleton, Jags CB and Sammie Lee Hill, Lions DT (4th round tender). Both young, both talented, both fairly cheap.

report said he was benched multiple times in favor of undrafted rookies

so there's that
eh. good depth i guess. not sure if i'd want him starting.

Also, defensive back
R.J. StanfordPosted Image has signed his one-year exclusive rights contract. In 2011, Stanford played in 12 games and recorded 20 tackles and one interception.

looks like we will be loaded with STers, which will be a nice change
My friend, who s a pretty huge Colts' fan, says this guy is barely practice squad material. haha

He should help keep guys off of Cam after protecting Peyton for years.

Maybe, Peyton didn't move much. So he must have some agility to protect Cam just like the whole Oline will need to be.
Nice signing. This pretty much means Zack Williams is gone. Still think we'll either draft a guard or pick another one up in FA.
The Colts really must have released their entire team.
Better pick up than Jason Brown. Good job.
but but but I wanted to draft G with our ninth pick
Hurney's on a roll. Let's hope he doesn't undo all the good signings by mortgaging away our future draft picks for a player he falls in love with. Come on Hurney, I'm pulling for you to not fug this up!
