Along the Sidelines - Tampa Bay Edition

Oct 25 2013 12:59 AM Zod Carolina Panthers
I can safely say being on the sidelines in Tampa Bay this season was infinitely better than last season.

When I arrived Cam was warming up under the watchful eye of Mike Shula. Shula still makes a point to keep tabs on Newton and doesn't seem to have given up the QB coach role completely. This was a homecoming for sorts for Shula, an important game for him.

Thomas Davis jogged onto the field and looked as serious as, well, he is every game. Davis is all business all day every day.

There were a few ladies waiting for the game to begin. Turns out they would be the only think in red and pewter worth taking pictures of all night long...
Posted Image

Brandon Lafell seemed focused during introductions.
Posted Image

I guess it worked, it wasn't long before he had a reception.

Steve Smith soon followed, introducing a defender with his knee in the process.

Oh hey a cheerleader...

Anyways, the Panthers pressured Glennon often and were the difference in the game.

Another Cheerleader...

Cam Newton had a great night. Any time your QB gets 2 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown, you probably won the game.

First Downs Panthers!

One lucky Auburn fan had a once in a lifetime moment.
Posted Image

Schiano looked fairly calm for most of the game, and often times like he was oblivious to the fiery seat he is sitting on.
Posted Image

Deangelo Williams and Mike Tolbert both had at least 5 yards per carry, and each had a touchdown. A very productive night for the Panthers running back duo. I know Cam was excited about it...

When Tolbert caught his touchdown, he immediately ran for the "Touchdown Mike" banner on the wall of the endzone. Pretty hilarious. I guess he has a new nickname.

Overall, it was a great night to be a Panthers fan. For the first night in years we have a team with a winning record to cheer for.

Bring on the Falcons.

Thanks man. Good stuff as always, especially for those of us that had to listen instead of watch.

I will definitely be watching this one asap on nfl rewind

Wow. No wonder they lost. What an odd strategy

Touchdown Mike is definitely his nickname from now on.  Dude is money when it comes to extending drives and converting in the redzone.

Are the Buc's cheerleaders called the "Toe-ettes"?

My best friend coined him "Trollbert" for that...

Yeah, that's him. LOL I think he's been seen in the TV coverage for each game he's been to so far.

I remember seeing him in the Rams game and the Giants game as well.

Good stuff Zod!! it's great to get your tweets and pics each game!

Need gif of riverboat flipping the fug out.

Hell yes, tearing that one official a new asshole.

Glad I wasn't the only one thinking this.

I don't think I have ever seen Rivera flip out and show emotion like that.  That ref's ass was literally hanging by a thread after RR ripped into him.  It is nice to have NFLN and to have been able to watch the entire game....

Wonderful photos Zod.  I am sure all the fellas love the toe shots.

My favorite ones are the one of Smitty introducing his knee to the defender and Davis' serious intent!

Great shots as usual Zod, love the action ones of Cam and DWill.

In the Rams game, Mr. Long left Zod's high five hangin

Nice eye Zod.  Can we all chip in and get you to the MIA game?  Some shots at that one would be nice, especially if the weather is warm.

Can't imagine other boards of other teams having the luxury of a sideline photographer as their leader.  We get the good stuff.

Got to hand it to Zod, he is living the dream, and his photog work is outstanding.

I love Tolbert.

Outstanding photography.

Does Zod go to every game?

They are hands down the best in the league year in and year out. Only thing consistent in that organization.

I call him Magic Mike. And Mitchel is "Dirty Mike and the boys"

What a ride we are on. Thanks for the great pictures, Ron Rivera was bad to the bone last night.
