Taking Over the Dome

Dec 23 2013 08:06 AM Zod Carolina Panthers
Greg Hardy has made a request for Panthers fans to make the trip to Atlanta and turn the Georgia Dome into Bank of America South. With a first round playoff bye on the line there has never been a more important time to drive 85 south.

Who is making the trip?

I will be there with my stupid Falcons fan gf and her stupid Falcons fan friends.

Last game I went to in Atlanta was when Fox just said f*ck it and ran the wildcat the entire game for a win.

The Roaring Riot will be there....50+ strong

My son and I are heading down.

Deciding whether to buy tix and drive the 8 hr round trip....or pay $175 and take the day charter bus run by Broach Sports Tours.

With RoaringRiot was running a daytrip to this one....can't go on Sat due to family commitments.

I'll be there with 3 of my boys

Those Broach busses are really nice. They park right beside us. Take their trip and party with us.

That is what I was thinking.  Worth a couple hundred bucks for me not to have an 8 hr round trip....especially with some drinking.

Not worth putting anyone's life in danger on I85 headed north.

Tons of tickets are available on Craigslist, they will get cheaper as the week goes on...

$175 is pretty expensive for a day trip (mine is $210 for an overnight), but to be able to relax, watch a movie on the way down, and sleep on the way back it's probably worth it.
Thinking about rounding a crew up. Not sure yet
I live in this dump of a city so obviously I will be out of town.

Yep....about $50 a person too high.  But, will be worth it not to have to drive 8 hrs....and not worry about drinking too much and then driving.

Buying tickets today. This will be the first Panthers game I will see in person. Christmas gift from my wife.

You're probably getting lowers with those (we sit up top), so it's not too far off. Definitely worth it to be able to have some beers. Let me know if you pull the trigger so we can meet up. You won't be able to miss us.
10 of us from the tailgate group are going

Nope...that is upper corner tickets.  $44 upgrade for lower level endzone if you want them.

They charge $269 for the overnight.  The day trip is a little overpriced because they know people will pay it....or at least lazy people with money like me.

They have nice buses though......and will have DirecTV on the bus.  Will be showing the 4:30PM games on the ride back.

I'm thinking about going. Which side is the visitors bench? 130's or 110's?

It would be great if you could bring me some Snake Handler IPA from Good People Brewing!

Way to represent CWG.....take over the dome.

Yeah they brought me over to their bus last year and gave me a tour. Sweet leather seats, widescreen TVs, and a glass roof. The Direct TV will make the ride home go by quickly.

We are at the 50 yard line in the uppers. I'm sure there will be plenty of seats around us... There usually are tons of empty seats. Half the Falcons "fans" walk around the dome the whole game.

Son and I are heading down.

I'm saving my $ for round 1 of playoffs.

My brother, friend, and I are going.

Have tickets and will be there along with a few other Atlanta-based Panther fans.

There will be plenty of tickets available the day of...I wouldn't buy at inflated prices online right now.

If anyone is interested we will be tailgating in the Marshalling yard.  That's where they park all of the buses.  If you check out this link, the Marshalling yard is right next to the yellow lot.  http://www.gadome.co...ns/Parking.aspx.  I can't remember if cars are allowed to park in the MY, but you can park in the yellow lot - it's right beside it.

We will be out there by 9:30am drinking beers, playing games, and blasting "Stand and Cheer" every third or fourth song.  Come on over and join us.
