  1. It's not the fan base, it's just those that claim to be fans here...
  2. Show me a good loser and I"m going to show you a loser... Author, former Carolina Panther
  3. Thanks, I corrected it for you. Is really easy to say Burns. It would be easier to say PJ, if not for those 2 interceptions, both in the redone...but even with those, he played a heck of a 1st NFL game. Much Congrats to PJ, UNDRAFTED and beating out a 3rd round pick. I'd have to go DEFENSE/Phil Snow. BTW, I'm not and have not been a Phil Snow fan but this was easily our best defensive performance of the year...
  4. Yeah he brought a great game plan today. Our defensive players did less reacting to plays today.
  5. I didn't count Whitehead out like many did but it's with good reason now. He may be a good backup. I hope that we stay with Carter as the starter.
  6. Wow, really... First off, I never called for or insinuated that he should be fired. I did say that our defensive issues, prior to this game, was on coaching and not players. Although many Huddlers said our defense was bad because we have so many players that were @$÷_. No, I'm not repeating it. I didn't agree with it then and I don't now. Our issues against the Lions were corrected and Phil Snow deserves a pat on the back...
  7. Our defense balled our today...
  8. Yeah, this game was all about the Lions...

  10. Is it a coincidence that, with Whitehead out today, our defense looked a heck of a lot better... Sarcasm included...
  11. I feel assure that we'll address the offensive line either through FA and or the draft. I also think we'd address the CB position the same way. I do think that we'll at the very least look at QB's, but I only think we'd draft a QB high in the draft if the one we (coaching staff) want falls to us And I hope we address MLB. I think Tre Boston stays.
  12. To be fair, this literally said: “I think it was just about every team,”
  13. I agree, it was a hard sale for Snow to come through but I don't believe we're that far off and I'm not in favor of getting rid of Snow as of right now. I do think we'd be a lot better with a few adjustments. Tighter zone coverages with player assignments, better tackling, better blitz alignments, etc.
  14. I saw the first problem: offensive line getting moved/turned off the line to create the running lane. Second problem: 52, Whitehead making a terrible read on a running play that's coming right at him and takes an angle that takes him out of the play. Third: Boston, who's never been known as a tackler, whiffs on making the tackle.
  15. I think Jones is good and we could build an offense around him but I don't see us trading a high draft pick, when we're still building our team and I think the majority of that build will come through the draft.
  16. This college, now NFL coach seems better to me than our last NFL coach...
  17. I get that many of you don't want to blame Phil Snow's Defense on these losses but blame the players instead. I agree that we don't have top NFL defensive players on our roster, offense or defense. But at least on the offense you can see constant adjustments and matchups. All I see on defense is players constantly out of position, wrong lane assignments, loss of containment, missed tackles, bad angles and great efforts to whiff at making tackles. These are all coachable flaws and all Phil Snow's fault. His system isn't working. Hmm...
