the #1/1/2 QB recruit, Josh Rosen of Los Angeles choses UCLA...over FSU, USC, Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan, etc

Bruce Feldman @ BruceFeldmanCFB 1m

Bruins putting together a heckuva class to go with the terrific skill guys to join the #1 QB Josh Rosen

Ryan Wooden @ Ryan_Wooden 6m

UCLA has 18 starters back in 2015 and they're putting together an incredible class. All eyes on you, Josh Rosen . Fair or not.

Bruin Report Online @ BruinReport 2h

#UCLA now has the No. 1 QB ( Josh Rosen ), the No. 1 C (Fred Ulu-Perry), the No. 1 TE (Chris Clark) and the No. 1 RB (Soso Jamabo) in the fold

247:

Rosen may be the most college-ready quarterback in this class. He is polished, has size, has arm strength, and he is extremely intelligent.

http://247sports.com/Article/QB-Breakdown-Best-of-the-2015-class-35074357

Rivals:

It is completely expected that Rosen will compete for the starting job as a freshman. He is already on campus, so he's delving into the playbook and he's so whip-smart that picking up the offense should not be difficult. He has the needed traits -- the arm, the composure, and the intelligence -- to be UCLA 's quarterback as a freshman -- and possibly one of the better signal callers in the Pac-12, if not the country. Rosen is that talented and that comfortable with the UCLA system, so big things are expected early.

The #1/1/2 DT and the #1 overall prospect per 247, Trent Thompson from 88 miles north of Florida State, choses to go 200 miles away to Georgia...over FSU, Auburn, Bama, Florida, Ohio State, USC, Michigan State, etc

MakaBelly @ TheStacyLouis 2h

Trent Thompson is the best high school defensive tackle I've ever seen.

mr. macintosh @ gritty_grinder

trent thompson ’s highlight film is out of control. dude basically is in the backfield immediately every snap

247 Rusty Mansell @ Mansell247 2h

Trent Thompson now in for the Dawgs. The defensive line group with Hawkins this am may be the best in the country after today..

Adam Kramer @ KegsnEggs

Garbage bags full of letters, a signed Nick Saban football and 313 terrifying pounds. The life of Trent Thompson

"There are four giant garbage bags inside the Thompsons’ house, each one filled to the brink. Inside these bags are handwritten letters, brochures and other mailers that they have collected from countless universities over the past few years.

...

Voyage to YouTube, search for Trent Thompson, and you’ll unearth a treasure trove of spectacular moments. They are endless, each seemingly more physics-defying than the next:"

Rosen is really overrated from what I've seen of him. He also has a really shitty attitude from reports I've read. Coaches at the opening were pissed with him because he was telling them he didn't need tips on how to play the position.

With #1 OT Martez Ivey selecting Florida, the #1 OT has signed with an SEC school for 5th straight year and 7th time in last eight years.

ESPN 1h

With OT Martez Ivey , Florida has signed 6 players in top 5 of ESPN 300 since 2006, most in FBS

The #1/3/5 DT recruit, Terry Beckner Jr. of St Louis picks Missouri...over FSU, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan, USC, Oregon, etc

ESPN 3h

No. 2 overall Terry Beckner Jr. (No. 1 DT) chooses Missouri.

He’s the highest-ranked ESPN 300 commit ever for Tigers

CBS Sports CFB @ CBSSportsCFB 3h

Massive get for Tigers

247 Steve Wiltfong @ SWiltfong247

Was told this morning five-star DT Terry Beckner Jr. changes his mind every hour between #FSU & #Mizzou

"Berkner is arguably the No. 1 recruit in the nation because he's strong enough to play inside at nose tackle if necessary, can penetrate the backfield as a three-technique defensive tackle (since he has tools like the spin move shown above), and is even a threat off the edge. He can use speed-to-power or pure bullrush techniques to collapse the pocket."
