These people might want to look at Bernie Sander's voting record.  But none of that matters, Bernie Sanders is old and white therefore he must be racist.

I'm sure the totally not racist "all lives matter" crowd will love this, and see it as a victory.

wow...........Hillary is trying to pull out all the stops.  First, Donald "the Trump card" to destroy ideological debate and flame animosity in the GOP party.  Next, hinder Bernie's message by disruption.........What difference does it make..........

I do not, I see this as ignorance to real meaning and as a minimization of a group's voice to be heard.  I am a all lives matter person because that's my nature not to discriminate.

Funny I think he's is too liberal for the Democratic Party in America.   Its One of the reasons he's not leading in the polls and why he'd never win. He's European liberal. That won't fly here.

Im curious why you think most dems fall in line with him. Cause I could be wrong.

if you rant against an imaginary enemy long enough eventually somebody's going to believe it exists

The basic idea of declaring "all lives matter" in the face of "black lives matter" is implying (whether intended or not) that black people who are speaking out against police brutality do not believe that other lives of different races hold the same value as that of a black person. Which is pure poppycock to say the least.

Of course what's ironic about "all lives matter" is it's pretty much entirely white people using that. On another note, I would be curious to find out how many of those individuals feel about "all" lives when it comes to the idea of granting citizenship to "illegal" immigrants raising families in this country.

The longer this goes on without real change/reform within our police departments across the country, the uglier it's going to get. That's all there is to it.

What's the difference between a Democrat and a socialist? Since the chairwoman of the DNC couldn't answer that question (TWICE!!!), maybe you can.

And no, Bernie isn't a 'European liberal'. He's a democratic socialist - which, if he knows his socialist terminology, he would know is actually left-wing by European standards (center-left parties in Europe call themselves 'social democrats'). By European standards, both Democrats and Republicans would be considered 'liberal', just in different ways - Republicans are economic liberals, Democrats are social liberals. That's why a liberal party like the UK's Liberal Democrats (which contains both economic and social liberals) might coalition with the Conservative Party.

I am not 100% sure, but am pretty sure Bernie Sanders is the ONLY candidate who was arrested fighting for civil rights.

I wouldn't have answered  that question either. She needs to shift the focus to the differences between democrats and republicans. She can't be seen playing favorites between Sanders and Clinton, and she might have been viewed as doing that depending on how she defined "socialist". I'm glad she was smart enough not to take the bait on that one.

Also, you think Europeans see republicans as economic liberals? Not hardly. Unless you are attempting to use a different definition of the word "liberal", which doesn't make sense when discussing our political parties in this context.

So am I racist or just naive?  Am I definitely for CJ reform on all levels.

I would suggest you look up what 'economic liberalism' means. 'Liberal' in the rest of the world does not mean what 'liberal' mans here.

Some are merely racists, some just don't care. I don't think you are either. But I would strongly urge you to not fall into that line of thinking.

To me, I think that the fact that black lives matter has become as prevalent as it has speaks to the imperative need for reform.

I can agree that we are becoming divided, but that divide is created entirely by which the way different people respond to all this. Instead of being dismissive to the calls for change by various black leaders/protestors, we should listen, and use that to apply real change moving forward to save as many people as possible (of all races obviously) from having to die needlessly.

But as long as people attempt to shift focus to black lives matter without bothering to question why police unions continue to enable these flawed policies/biased internal investigations which then directly produce flawed officers on our streets with inadequate training which is all too often leading to lives/families being lost/ruined, nothing will actually change.

Definitely 100% correct. Terminology of words have slowly been muddled and diluted by politicians by years of political correctness into an agenda to fit into whoever is In charge.
