Pulling for the Bengals until......

Recommended Posts

Burflict went on a to display why he is probably one of the dirtiest players in the league and possibly in the history of the game.

The lack of discipline Between him and Adam Jones (supposedly team leaders) is why they lost that game.

I am so happy that our leaders on our team have the discipline under control.   Yeah we have an occasional stupid play but under no circumstances do we ever get that out of control.

Thank Dave (and Marty) for picking players that don't have the THUG mentality and cost us a game like they just did.

Burfict is a piece of trash.  Well deserved loss for that shitbag of a team.

I don't know about THUG mentality, but this game displayed why it should be a high priority to draft players with a level head.

As a team I pull for on the side. I'm furious at the end of that game. I feel the Burfict hit was clean. He hit him shoulder first and theres no way to say it was late because he was looking down the entire time.

It's why Marvin Lewis will be fired.

vontaze should be banned from the league. Great Karma.

I loathe the steelers but how anybody could root for the bengals to win after what vontaze did last year is beyond me.

Tough the exact samw thing. No fan of the Steelers at all, but that hit to Browns head was as nasty as it gets. Disgusting!

Yes really. I'm a firm believer in being an enforcer across the middle. Tough poo the dude got hurt, But he hit him with the shoulder and iirc Brown touched the ball.

This may be it for Marvin Lewis in Cincinnati

I mean perennial playoff team or not how many times can you forgive the lack of preparedness and discipline in January?

Wut? You are kidding!? Clean? Unless you saw something I didn't see. Ti me he clearly aimed for Browns head.

I agree. I thought it was clean, just chance that Brown's head dipped into Burfict's shoulder. Not sure about the Pacman call either, looked like Porter was trying to stir up some sh*t.

I haven't forgot about of game last year. Burflict is an head-hunting, ankle twisting piece of crap. I wish nothing but the worst for him. He and Beckham should get a room.

burfict's hit was stupid but a little more forgivable since it was at full speed in a football game against an unpredictably-moving target.

adam jones? grabbing a coach's lapel and jerking him around? unforgivably stupid.

I agree it was likely instigated and it was very smart of them to target him. I only take issue with the hit.

    • this is silly. of course we're basing this off of one season. we're talking about who's better. it would be pointless to talk about the entirety of a career because lamar hasn't had one yet. cam has peaked and his peak was MVP. he fulfilled his potential and he was borderline great. the super bowl performance hurts him from a legacy standpoint, but the rate at which he's racking up yards and rushing records has been impressive. if he can get the counting stats, maybe he can get into canton. he looks good from a total offense perspective. ahead of several hall of fame names already. the touchdown record for a quarterback helps.  but here's the thing. what lamar jackson is doing right now is by measures of degrees more impressive than anything any rushing quarterback has ever done. he broke a rushing record some people thought might be impossible and it took him the first drive of his 14th game. two full games to add to it. he's completing 66% of his passes and has 33 TD passes to 6 INT. he might break the rushing record for a quarterback and throw 40 touchdowns. it's just silly. this has never been done. it doesn't matter if his season and career end tomorrow. what he has accomplished this season will forever be relevant when talking about the best quarterback performances in league history. if he can win a super bowl, this season alone might be enough to make him canton worthy.
    • is this some kind of weak swerve on cam because these dudes are both black? lamar jackson is about to be the mvp of this league and is an absolute video game. you could make this thread on like 30 other boards. are we supposed to be mad about this?
    • Cam is gonna be great next year with Alex Leatherwood at left tackle protecting him while throwing the ball to number one WR DJ Moore, CMC, and Ian Thomas  I'm hopeful
