Shula has moments, maybe even brief streaks, of brilliance when it comes to playcalling and gameplanning, no doubt. Unfortunately though those are more the exception and less the rule.

some poo that chud forgot and left in his office when he bolted

not surprised we are running day 1 install routes when half our WRs were cut before training camp. good thing we didnt pick up a veteran WR before the playoffs.

but lets all poo on Cam for his bad game right?

Well we are playing with a bunch of training camp wide receivers, our #2 and #3 options were cut from the team earlier this season.  I'm not sure why most people think they are going to turn into TO and Jerry Rice or that you can somehow "scheme" them open.  Its about the same as scheming ways for Everette Brown to get to the QB or scheming ways for Jimmy Clausen to throw for 300 yards and 4 TDs.

Not sending two or three of them to the same area would be a big step in the right direction.

Some of us have been screaming about Shula's poor play design for a long, long time.

His play design and situational playcalling are both easily the worst of any OC in the league. Two pretty important pieces to an OC's job...

Remember all those crappy hot takes after the game that claimed that Cam had WRs open all day?:crying:

Cam had bunch of crap throws and had a terrible game, but let's not front like the offense was helping him out, either. I swear it felt like every one of Ryan completions were to receivers with like 3 or 4 yards of free space.

We are trotting out our #2, #6, and #7 as our starting receivers. I guess Shepard would be our #5 but he isn't seeing the field. We traded our 1a and receivers 3 and 4 are out for the season. Mose is number 8 I guess like wtf.

How have we not made any moves for a WR? This offfense is a fuging disaster.

It really didn't look like we were playing to win that game.  It looked like we were just showing up and going through motions.

Maybe Cam looked disinterested because we're running day 1 training camp plays in a fight for the division title.

If you doubt the power of playcalling look no further than what McVay has done in LA this year.

That's pretty much the equivalent of throwing poo at the wall and seeing what sticks

Funny thing is, you had quite a few of us wanting the panthers to atleast look at some of the veteran WR free agents. The ones who were the first to criticize after Sunday’s game either acted all snooty towards the list, or were saying we were good with what we had.

remember arguing with someone who was convinced that we were better with our current WRs and didnt want us to at least work out an experienced WR like Kerley.
