Gun laws I’d like to see

Recommended Posts

Permanent ban on AR15 and all assault platform type rifles.

Permanent ban on semi auto firearms.

Liability insurance required on each firearm owned.

Required license/training/courses for both longarms/sidearms.

25 years of age to purchase any firearm.

72 hour waiting period on any firearm purchase.

I think this is the type of minimum baseline that all states should have. Rules and laws shouldn’t vary from state to state IMO

Lower it to 21 years of age.

Background check every time you buy a firearm.

All private sales go through the local sheriffs department.

Criminal liability if you gun is used in a crime.

This is the  top issue for me.

id like to see all of you move to a country that isnt a rights based society instead of attempting to strip your fellow citizens of their rights so you can feel safe.

Limit unregulated firearms to those that existed when the 2nd Amendment was written.

Can we open carry our cannons and Gatling Guns?

Should free speech be limited to only the printing press and the streets?

Are you so stupid to think the founders didn't think weaponry would evolve, and some of the weapons from those times were more lethal than some of the Boogeyman guns you want to ban now?

I'd probably be ok with this too. However, it's kind of hard to regulate that process. Not saying it shouldn't be done, just saying it's not gonna stop everyone.

18, however, is the age of adulthood in the US. I believe you should be able to drink, own a gun, vote, and do anything else other adults can do. If not, the legal age to do anything of these things, including serve in the military and vote, should be raised to 21 (or whatever age whoever decides is adulthood). You are either an adult or you aren't.

Is owning a gun a god given right to you?

You’ll have better conversations with a tennis ball, a sandbag or a cool ranch Dorito.

Why does the right refuse to accept that regulation does not equate to a violation of the second amendment?

when i'm president anyone who says that their gun is to protect from the government will be asked what they think of the guy who shot a bunch of congressman at that soft ball game. if they disapproved then their gun is taken away.
