Also eat a grain rich breakfast and make sure to eat every 2-3 hours. Avoid all fats and only occasionally eat meat. If you eat eggs, do it in moderation but DON'T eat the yolk. Lots of saturated fat in the yolk that will clog up your arteries by raising your cholesterol.
