"When I Can, I Tell the Truth"

Recommended Posts

1. Trump falsely claimed during a rally in Nevada on Saturday that Californians were “rioting” and “demanding they be released from sanctuary cities.” There has been no evidence of rioting in the state, and when asked by reporters to point to specific instances of protest, the president did not name any.

2. Weeks ahead of the midterm elections, Trump told The Wall Street Journal in a 30-minute interview in the Oval Office that the tariffs don’t even exist. “We don’t even have tariffs. I’m using tariffs to negotiate,” the president said. He also referenced the aluminum and steel tariffs he imposed earlier this year, which economists estimate may cost up to 400,000 American jobs, as “small.”

“Where do we have tariffs? We don’t have tariffs anywhere,” Trump added. “You know what happens? A business that’s doing badly always likes to blame Trump and the tariffs, because it’s a good excuse for some incompetent guy that’s making $25 million a year.”

3. In an op-ed published by USA Today in early October, Trump claimed that Democrats would end insurance coverage for people with health problems and virtually kick seniors off health insurance plans. While Democrats have supported the “Medicare for All” proposed by independent Senator Bernie Sanders, the plan would, in theory, expand benefits for senior citizens across the country.

liberals are going to waste time fact-checking trump while he cruises to victory because they don't learn. you have to be trump to defeat trump. if he lies about a riot in california, you lie about a riot in coal country where he promised to bring jobs back and failed. or just cruise on that high road to 4 more years.

Sorry, but when I have "discussions" with Trumpers, I tend to focus on some of the basic foundations of humanity, like morals, humility, honesty, integrity.

I have a problem with dishonest people, and I'd like to think that a pathological liar would be a big red flag to most people, but apparently not.

The same people who would lose their sh!t if they found their kid smoking a cigarette behind the garage are the same people who don't have a problem with Trump banging a porn star as a married man, paying her off to stay quiet and then lying about it even after he's been caught dead to rights.

Trump has taken lying to an epic level. He could probably have been a really good improv comedian with his ability to make bullshit up on the fly.
