Browns offered him as well. He said repeatedly he was waiting for the right opportunity. I believe he also seeked treatment for anxiety and panic attacks.

Pretty convinced you guys could sign a turd and you would find some way to twist it into being a "great signing"

It is so much time for Brees to retire.  He probably plays till he is 50, wouldn’t surprise me.  Retire already!

Don't get the signing but it's really not that big of a deal.

An odd,  unnecessary move by the Saints. Nothing to gain here.  A very good day for the Panthers.

You all do realise that Dez was bad because Dak is awful? This is a great pickup for the Saints. The best team in the league just got better.

If this were true he wouldn't have been available midseason. Now that means 31 teams did not see the value in a 30 year old receiver who runs bad routes, has questionable hands and has lost a step (when he wasn't a burner to begin with)

He had teams trying to get him. He waited for the right opportunity.

No rational person thinks he will go to the Saints and light it up, they already have 2 elite offensive talents in Kamara and Thomas. But, it is also irrational to think he couldn't go and help contribute. The Saints were very thing at WR. Outside of Thomas, no WR has more than 12 receptions. Trequan Smith looks solid for a rookie, but he is still a rookie. A major reason for the drop off in production from Dez is due to Dak Prescott being awful. He now has the best QB he's ever had, and the best coach he's ever had, on a winning team. He can be a plus and add another dimension to what is already the best offense in the league.

I guess y’all forgot that Ted Ginn old ass put us out of the playoffs last year huh.

33 year old Ted Ginn could smoke 21 year old Dez Bryant even pretending they are comparable is laughable.

Dez Bryant was hillariously overrated in his prime... what dimension is that by the way questionable possession reciever?

He didn't "wait for the right opportunity" he grossly overrated his value when only the Ravens and Browns show interest at veteran minimum you are #trash.

When his contract is released I bet you its vet minimum.

Dez is pretty much washed at this point. He'll be a non-factor and get 2-3 targets a game at most

LOL, Bradberry shut down Mike Evans who is a much better receiver than Dez at this point.  I have zero concerns about making sure he does nothing against us.  I actually hope it does fug up their chemistry.

Didn’t Bradberry get beat like a drum by Alshon

Dez put up what? 800 yards last year with a QB who refuses to throw down field. They definitely got better, Ben Watson whose a fossil is still producing in that offense. You have to be a true delusional fanboy to think Dez won’t help them out.

So they picked up that WR that used to be good. Cool.

Kind of ironic that people are knocking it when you consider that picking up a player who used to be good is usually a very popular idea around here. So is picking up a guy who's got a rep for being a problem child somewhere else. Bryant is both
