My man just burned close to $15 million by not reporting. He'll be 27 and a year out of football when he tries to land that 'mega deal' next off season.

Mazel Tov to anyone who can turn that kind of money

Whatever he does wind up getting will send a message to anybody who's thinking about doing this in the future.

What that message will be? I guess we'll see.

I think he screwed himself more than he helped himself by holding out.

I think he'll get roughly 40 mil guaranteed. If he does, he made the right choice. I can understand people having a problem with the way he's handled everything, but the decision was definitely not a dumb one.

He will not make tag money unless the browns take him or Pittsburgh tag him. He made a horrible choice this offseason.

Now what does this have to do with the panthers?

He’s a year out of football and missing a years paycheck. So in the end he lost money.

So he signs the tender and plays, and tears an ACL. Then what money is he getting? He turned down $15 million guaranteed for a chance to make much, much more than that.

Thank God he didn't play last week because they would have scored a 100 on us? I'm reaching I know.

Think he'll get a Gurley-sized deal from Indy or NYJ.

I would rather have a comfy guaranteed 40 mil+ pay day than take a chance at a busted knee and then having to bust your ass trying to get back just to play for scraps the next season.
