that wasnt meant as a dig at Addison, if anything i've been pleasantly surprised he's developed into a quality starting DE when most thought he'd be a pass rush specialist at best. KK was nonexistent this year, how much of that is on him or due to Poe being unable to replace Star i dont know, but given his cap hit he needs to do better than 3 sacks and 7 QB hits. secondary was definitely part of the problem too but it goes the other way as well, saw plenty of snaps where the opposing QB had all day to pick apart the secondary because there was no interior presence to disrupt the pocket.

I thought the line did better at the end of the year when Washington focused on just the line and not the whole defense.

2 Panthers fall in a swimming pool of milk,..

one panther gets tired and then drowns,..

the other keeps pounding and churns that milk into butter,..

i have no point— the Panthers make no sense right now— Dave is just playing with the matrix on his computer.

the Panthers for him are probably just one big tax sponge for his hedge funds— most hedge funds do that— look for losers and just flush taxes.

No! the fact we haven't heard a single word from ron or marty is really sad. They haven't given us anything to be optimistic or encouraged about for next year which as a fan is very very disappointing. All we want to know is what is cam's shoulder status and what will be done about it or what is planned going forward. What are our offseason plans on how where going to make this team better next year. What's our direction for free agency and the draft and how are we gonna approach it.

At what point will it be too late to fill you in?  Point being, the NFL season isn't even close to being over, still plenty of time for the team to come out and give a going into the off-season update --- what's your deadline?

This is the key unless some unforeseen franchise QB comes available to us...

I don't see how anything of importance changes when you keep the same people in charge of the things that are important to a team.  Count me as a fan who will be content to listen on the radio next season while doing things other than wasting whole Sundays rooting for a team I have zero faith in.  Brings me right back to 2001 when I did the same.

Ron and Marty usually do end of the year pressers after there last game of the year to address the season and plans going forward. This year we got nothing and with lots of questions and uncertainty for this team going forward. It's frustrating as a fan that they have been very vague about cam's shoulder. I just feel as fans who invest our time with this team and franchise they should tell us something to be optimistic and feeling good about going into next season.

A lot more nos than I expected

I'm guessing that Tepper would say the same thing if the entire fanbase was polled.  Likely doesn't fully understand some of the frustrations.  The Steelers have had a VERY long track record of success, their fans have been rewarded for years and years with both winning teams, and Lombardi's.

We have not.

What we do KNOW, is that Marty is not the person that needs to be in that seat.  Ron seemingly isn't either.

This team needs some smart football people at the helm, and we have a reporter.

Poll is interesting, seems to indicate the fan base is a perfect contrarian indicator.

Makes sense.

Panthers will probably win a Super Bowl well before I suspected...

    • Yeah the problem with our "education" lottery is that the state decided to use the lottery revenues not as additional funds but as a replacement for tax dollars previously earmarked for education. The lottery would have been a great boost to the education system in NC, however the legislators did exactly what they said they would not do, and used it as a replacement instead.  Actually the strip is arguably more depressing than the rest of Vegas. It's an urban area, so there are obviously some downtrodden places, especially since they were one of the hardest hit areas after the housing crisis. But there are DEFINITIVELY a lot of very nice areas outside the strip. Go to North Vegas or old downtown. It's like any other city, plenty of great food and lots of things to do. And, yes, I have been there. The negatives about gambling are the same negatives that will exist regardless of the legality. The fact is that some people will go broke and get addicted to gambling, whether legal or not. Just because some people lack self control should not condemn some pretty harmless entertainment. As I said earlier, make sure there are ample safety nets in place to assist gambling addicts and you deal with that issue in that manner. There would be plenty of revenue to fund that. Heck, make it a requirement that each institution has to give a percentage to such services. I would be fine with that, as well.
    • And MLS...Tepper seems determined to get a team.
