This is my concern. Thomas is too good just to back to the bench and be forgotten unless/until Greg get hurt.

RR kept him inactive for several games middle of the year and went with manhertz just another of RRs poor player decisions

let’s face  it putting the best players on the field ain’t Ron’s forte

So many needs, TE doesn't really make the top 10 list right now. I just don't see it.

I Wouldn't go that far... I would say with Olsen on his last legs it makes top 10... and  Matt Millers mock he has us taking a tight end in the 3rd. Isaac is going in the fourth in this same mock.

OT, OG, C, DE, DT, SS, CB, FS, QB, LB all before TE. You could also add in KR/PR to be honest. Even with Olsen perhaps riding off into the sunset before season end, we'd still be okay with what we have on the shelf. I just don't see us grabbing a TE in this draft, but what do I know?

I don't think DT is any bigger need than Te. Love is more than serviceable as a 3. Lb? i mean didnt we draft like 2? and shaq barely played as our starting number 3 so i dont think it's that big of a need. But then we are talking about need when have the huddle lives and dies by bpa... With BPA you just take what the board dictates and worry about needs later.

As long as Olsen is under contract and planning to come back you have 2.. Plus the addition of a Manhertz contract means we have 3 already..

I was responding to the echo chamber suggesting that Ian Thomas will be left inactive when he lead the team in TE snaps and was active every game his rookie season.

How many games did Olsen play and how effective is he at this age? Manhertz isnt stoping anyone from getting a job...he is pretty bad bro..hes just a extra blocker..

It don't matter.. He is under contract for atleast 2 more season.. They aren't going to cut him.. You might as well leave this dream alone..

    • It’s very typical of a RR team. I’m a RR fan, for the most part, but this is inexcusable.  I wonder if breaking camp and moving back to CLT disrupted the rhythm? Either way, it was pitiful.  I couldn't care less that they lost, it’s the manner in which they lost that deeply concerns me.
    • If anyone gives you poo because they (whites, I assume) do not think you should feel as you do, that in itself supports your statement.   Who the hell is a white man to tell a minority what should or should not offend them?  If you are white and decide what is appropriate for blacks and what is not--then you are demonstrating white privilege. If Ace feels there is white privilege, then listen to him and reflect--instead you give him poo.  You don't speak for me, aholes.  My opinion of Reid is a bit different because I look at it from the business side as well as the social justice side, but Ace is not making up how he feels--and it is not your call, brothers.
    • Democrats generally consider Biden's finest hour to be his debate performance against Paul Ryan in 2012.  Ryan is a little try-hard turd who wants to be thought of as an intellectual and policy wonk, and Biden easily shoved him around that night. Trump, on the other hand, doesn't give a fug about any of that.  Trump blurts out whatever flashes across his stimulant-addled sundowning brain no matter how wrong or outrageously stupid/nonsensical it is with the confidence of a man slapping a royal flush down on the table.  Biden can't counter it and would get sucked into the game.
