I could still see Cody Ford at #16 work as a LG in 2019 and swing out to RT in 2020 if we don't bring back Williams. Also could see Dalton Risner in the 2nd play the utility role on the line.

I hope not. There are solid options on day 2 at guard and tackle. 16 should be a stud DL, edge or Wilkins, depending on how it falls.

Nope. Los Angeles just had 41 straight record days of under 70 degree temps.

Tell me more about global warming Al Gore.

It's climate change now. You see any change in climate is dangerous.

I wasn't expecting this to happen this year because the financial side of it would be better next year. I do think that releasing him this year, resigning Williams and signing Paradis puts us in a much better o-line position going into the draft.

A good friend of mine is a defensive guy. We've discussed how we'd build a team. He'd start with CB's. I'd start with the o-line!

The guy is laughing all the way to the bank.  He really took us for a ride.  Horrible, horrible signing.  FU Matt.

Great line from Barnwell while he's discussing the William's signing [ he rates the Williams signing as an A]:

"...Then-GM Dave Gettleman made a huge mistake two years ago in signing left tackle Matt Kalil to a five-year, $55.5 million deal that was unsupported by tape, statistics or medicine..."

Unsupported by tape, stats or medicine, that's true, and cold.

Lmaoooo first its global warming, then its climate change but still global warming at least thats what I keep hearing people say until you sarcastically correct them and then they change it to climate change. We naturally become more green as we progress anyways. People don’t like direct effects of pollution.

I mean the fact is this. There are 100s of green projects to champion. But most involve making other countries stop polluting. China and most of Asia dump plastics and other chemicals such as mercury into our sea. Now that's a note worthy cause but banning plastic straws in the US has little effect.

Yeah, but look at the details, 2 mil of that is in games played bonuses [hah] and  1.75 mil of his 3.25 mil salary disappears if he goes on IR.

From OTC:

Contract Notes

Matt Kalil signed a one year contract with the Houston Texans on March 27, 2019.  Initial report from John McClain is the contract value is $7.5 million with $2.25 million guaranteed.  Kalil received a $2.25 million signing bonus; and can earn up to $2 million ($125,000 per game active) in roster bonuses.  Kalil's base salary is $3.25 million but that would change to $1.5 million if Kalil was placed on the Injured Reserve.
