Some of the fattest people i have seen are vegan, it wont matter if you are eating all that processed box/plastic wrapper BS being passed off as "food"

I mean veggies are processed too and potato chips are vegan. I'm not vegan but I don't eat processes or red meats and feel better. That's even with my cigar habit. Choosing a healthy diet isn't about what more what way your food was prepared.

So I guess now not even eating fish.

Cigsrs aren’t great for a person’s body either

he is a grown man and can do what he wants. It’s just the oxymoron of Cam

i'm not going to call you a moron because personal attacks aren't allowed but of all the morons i've known to say moronic things this post is the most moronic of all of them

also lol @ anyone who looks at cam newton's physique and tongue clucks their useless, uninformed opinion that vegans can't possibly get enough calories to sustain muscle mass lmao

I do  not mean this in a bad way, but Cam is one of the most unique persons  I have ever  known about.  Interesting.

Will cut down on any inflammation of his shoulder a great deal. Likely the main motivation behind it.

I went vegan for health reasons. To be honest I haven’t spoke with my doctor about it but I will with my next appointment. I just don’t trust the meat anymore we consume. Our country has the highest cancer rates in the world. (Cancer has been popping up left and right in my family) Heart disease is killer too so I decided to try this. I don’t know if I can say purely vegan because I do eat some kinds of fish(not bottom feeders) but I am feeling better. Lost weight etc but I will look more into it. I do eat a lot of soy based products so I will be asking about that.

Lots of people like to pin health issues like cancer on processed food. I’m sure it does play some role but there are much bigger factors that don’t get talked about.

We live in a society where we are exposed to light but constant radiation all day long (4g LTE for example). A society which we constantly consume metals (even something as simple as brake dust. If you live in a big city, you inhale that in the air almost all day long). These things are much mite likely to be the bigger cancer contributors.

Not to mention many prominent doctors and athletes are going the other way and getting on the carnivore diet. Only meat, cheese, salt and water. Dr. Drew, Dr. Jordan Peterson and a handful of MMA fighters do this now. It’s much more clean, lowers inclination and there’s almost no evidence showing it’s worse for their heart actually

True. Most vegans I know go heavy on the carbs. I doubt Cam is doing that though.

I think it’s great that he has a guy giving him shoulder treatment 2-3x a day. Brady has a similar person that treats him everyday.

That's because if you refuse to eat any meat or fish you have limited options for protein. And if you lift weight or workout, it's damn near impossible to get all the protein you need on a vegan diet let alone without overdoing it on carbs.Beans for instance, great source of protein for vegans...packed full of carbs, albeit good carbs.

Plant based diet with occasional high quality meat, mostly seafood, is a good balance.

i still to this day remember when arian foster went vegan and some huddlers decided to drop him from their fantasy team because of it, and then he went on to be the top rb in the league that year.

nutrition threads are a close second to "who should play the halftime show" threads for hilarious huddle opinions.

I’ve been carnivore for a year and have never felt better. Off all 6 meds, leaner, stronger, no inflammation and all my gut issues are gone. I won’t go back.
