Post FA Draft (Final)

Recommended Posts

After the dust settles, Hurn has positioned us well for the draft! I am surprised tbh with this version.

I had to final tryout this fanspeak mock draft thingy. My fanspeak mock was set on difficult to see if my draft could be realistic and yet it was interesting.

Limdstrom in the 3rd is a pipedream lol. It did not let me select the 6th comp round?

Anyways, the argument lately is Burns or Sweat. Personally I like Burns over Sweat but Sweat is big enough to be on the line and fast yet quick enough to play OLB as well for the hybrid. So in my final draft:

1st) Montez Sweat, DE/OLB

He has size with tremendous speed that can play hand in the ground or drop back.

2nd) Nasir Adderley, S

Ball Hawk that is much needed to pair up with Eric Reid.

3rd) Khalen Saunders, DL

Poe's next year replacement. Nimble big dude that has an explosive first step with a nonstop motor.

3rd comp) Max Scharping, OT

Developmental starter and insurance policy for DWill.

4th) Kahlil Hodge, OLB

He will be our future SLB to pair up with Shaq at WLB and Luke to man the middle.

5th) John Cominsky, DE/DT

Developmental depth that can play inside or out.

6th comp) Mark Fields, CB

Potential NB starter down the road, depth.

UDFA prediction:

Small compact dude who aims for the Darren Sproles game due to his size. He would play Fozzy's old role.

Who needs a powerback for short yardage when we have Armah imo. Plus Hood is another bigger back.

Anyway, this is my final take.

Removed an extra 6th that I thought we had as a comp.

I would be surprised if Sweat makes it out of the top 10

I think Sweat goes top 10

Gary "drops" and the  Panthers draft him even tho he doesn't have the production in College

Some of the teams Gary is visiting leaked out today. It was littered with top 10 teams. I'm not sold on him, but he looks like a top 10 lock.

Edit*

Wow misread the player, Gary :eyeroll:

Gary in top 10 means, Sweat or Burns at a greater possibility.

Adderley wont be there at 47. No way in hell.

Where’s our OLB?

Adderley may or may not but if he is there and we do not pick up a FA FS then yes I can see it.

To answer your OLB question

When did we get another sixth round pick?

Good catch. We have two thirds, not two sixths.
