All Charges Against Jussie Smollett Have Been DROPPED

Recommended Posts

So he wasn’t exonerated, he just did community service already and forfeited his bond.

“Cook County State's Attorney has dropped the charges against actor Jussie Smollett.

Here's what prosecutors said in a statement:

"After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case."”

Completely exonerates Jussie, thank you

I can't wait to see this press conference. It still never made any sense to me that they never charged the 2 brothers with anything. This story has so many twists and turns.

What were they going to charge them with?

Assault? But is it assault if you write someone a check to kick your ass?

It doesn't exonerate him as much as it provided him an alternative out- he did community service and made a donation (forfeited bond) to the city in exchange for him not being completely and publicly humiliated and embarrassed during a trial and possibly hurting his career far worse than this outcome will.

They should've been charged with the same thing as Jussie. That's what confused me about this whole situation.

ahhh and the left strikes again.

drop all charges knowing the news would create a media spectacle to completely divert attention away from one of the biggest conspiracy hoaxes of our life time.

oldest trick in the book.

huh?

Dotard is actually trying to move past the “findings” faster than anyone.

Which is why he had his DOJ literally do a 180 the first business day after...and left all of ACA for dead.    Which is why they are back to get about stressing the need for all these new investigations.

No one wants people talking about something besides the Mueller report more than Trump

    • Concluded with zero reports of violence or arrests. People of various races, religions, nationalities, and political leanings (I believe there was a Dem who spoke but I could be wrong on that) all gathered and came together to protest infringement on the 2nd Amendment. The government was scared, tried to scare people and to make the protest goers appear like something they weren't, and the whole thing goes off without a hitch. This is a win for the American people in the face of a government that spent all of last week swearing that this was going to be a crowd of people looking to be violent. Before anybody mentions it, yes the FBI arrested some neo-Nazi morons who reportedly planned to use the rally as a means to promote their ideology but that wasn't at the actual event, it was a few days ago. Antifa was even on hand reportedly and no violence.   Not sure how to embed tweets, but Julio Rosas has a good thread of tweets containing pictures of various people and signs at the rally.
    • I've got some time, so I'm gonna talk a little bit about the VA's Domiciliary Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program or Dom program that I mentioned earlier. Basically what they do is bring the veteran in & find out what the problems are. Then they come up with a plan to work on these problems that will have the veteran living at the hospital from two months to a year.  Any vet with a substance addiction, mental illness, lack of skills, pretty much anything that can make one homeless, can be helped by this program. There's substance abuse support meetings (religious & nonreligious), mental health counseling, job training/retraining, & much more.  It's one of the best programs to come out of the VA, & is something I'd really like to see get a civilian counterpart to. It would go a long way in reducing homelessness in America.
    • I'll take the Chiefs. I think the game comes down to whether or not Jimmy G will need a big game to win.  Even if the 49ers can run, they might still end up trailing in this game.  Mahomes looks unstoppable right now.  49ers are very good in the trenches on both sides of the ball, but I think Mahomes puts the Chiefs up at some point and changes the landscape of the game.
