I really look forward to listening to Greg after he retires. He’s well spoken and obviously knows a ton about the current state of the NFL.

Did this before once I believe

Yep, he called a Vikings game during our bye week when he was injured. The Vikings threw a hissy fit and tried to get Fox to pull him because we were playing them later in the year. Why that mattered, who knows? But, Fox told them to pound sand and he called the game anyway.

Guess it would have to do with all the behind the scenes prep work that is done before the broadcast.  The production crew usually interviews players and coaches around their plans for the week and they even watch a few practices.  It gives the announcers and the camera crews something to look for during the game.  Doubtful it's much that you couldn't figure out with game film though.

But will he comment on Gettleman if/when the discussion inevitably goes there...

I know the likely answer for this since Greg is a smart guy, but still interesting to think about what could be said.

Lol dude has been retired since he was reinjured and yet collects a check from the Panthers and Hurney who are probably the best team at paying fan favorites and even others for nothing

I loved Olsen but damn how much has he made for 4 years without playing, and after crying for an raise/extension with TD? we could’ve really used that
