Josh Norman had 4-5 excellent seasons. He was really good his first year with the Redskins, just got old for a cornerback. He showed flashes of how good he was when he was young, but we were too stubborn to give him a chance.
And yes Marty did draft Smitty, you might want to ask Steve Smith himself. Everyone knows Hurney ran the 2001 draft.
During his speech, Smith was emotional when talking about his time in Carolina. He ended by taking off his blazer and shirt which had his Super Bowl 38 No. 89 jersey underneath.
“I’d like to thank Mr. (Jerry) Richardson and Marty Hurney for drafting me and Mr. (David) Tepper for bringing me back,” Smith said during his induction speech
Ain't that the truth. Hurney came back for a second try and has largely looked like he did on his first go round. Shocker. Meanwhile, the Giants are still terribad under Gettleman and he very well could be fired at the end of the season.
