The Younger players are carrying the team

Recommended Posts

Hurney is bringing in sufficient talent to win. It seems to be more of a coaching problem along with older players getting complacent.  Rivera loves older players,  it  has been detrimental  to the team.

Thoughts?

Ummmm... what?

Who are these young players that Hurney brought in that are "carrying the team" again?

I can't voice any thoughts until you point out to me the young players that Hurney brought in that are "carrying" the team.

This the the Huddle. Brash statements and shifting burden of proof is the standard.

There's only one young guy I've heard people talk about as "carrying the team" and he wasn't drafted by Hurney.

There was a lot of talk this past offseason that we were putting ourselves in position to depend on a lot of players that were either older or coming off of injury / poor performance / down seasons at important positions (Matt Paradis, for example).

That's typical of a "win now" attitude, which is something pretty much everyone expected out of our current leadership.

Only so far, we're not "winning now".

Shaq, DJ, CMC, Samuel, Jackson and Burns are my brightest younger spots and hope they become/remain staples for at least 4+ more years. Jackson specifically needs to work on his physicality and tackling technique; his ball skills are there.

Very hopeful for Carter, Miller, Scarlett and Haynes.

the rest..meh
