How many of the teams in the playoffs this year were paying a running back QB money?
San Fran has arguably the most dominant well rounded roster aside from KC and they are running over teams with multiple backs, none of which are on historic contracts.
It would be the greatest draft ever for us. As soon as I saw Love go to Indy, I’m on my phone giving up 19, 69 and 80 for pick 11 or 12 and taking Thomas.
Effectively it would be like taking Brown at 7 and taking Thomas at 69. DGAF about Murray or 80, if I somehow got out of the first 3 rounds with Brown, Thomas and say Kindley or Biadasz or a CB (if Bradberry’s gone) or WR or just about any other need then we’re having potentially our best draft ever.
I don’t see it happening unless QB crazy stuff happens. I don’t get Miami’s trade though, that’s a ton to give up to move up to Detroit when you know Detroit and NY don’t want a QB. Maybe you are protecting against a SD trade up, but that’s a lot. According to trade charts, that’s 1240 points to move up 500. That's way overpaying for a just in case when you know without a trade up Tua is yours.
