The funny part is the person who arguing for 7 pages how unfathomable a question is...

"While literally 8 others did it with no problem"

3500 Pass Yards, 25 TD, sub 15 INT.  He has the best back in football and a legit #1 in DJ moore, he should be able to put up some numbers in an offense with those weapons and and legit LT now.  Defense will be what costs us, offense should be entertaining though.

Well look at that another immortal among us..

Thanks you Cajun for blessing us with your greatness...

If we win more than 1 game, we will not be able to land Trevor Lawrence. So, to be honest it won't take a hefty stat line for TB to stay.

It’s about excitement, hope and winning.

Teddy is like watching wet paint dry.

It’s more about the Ws. If it’s 7+, he’s probably played enough, but more importantly you’re likely drafting too late to  get someone who projects as a step up.

Agreed. Teddy's individual stat line won't matter nearly as much as his wins and loses.  Even a pedestrian season for his individual stats may get us enough wins to forego the #1 or #2 pick.  At that point would the #3 QB in the draft be any better than Teddy?   Who knows?

7-9.

Even though I'm predicting 8-8 worst case:shades:

Individual numbers for Teddy was the question.. W-l record is a team stats...

W-l is a team stats.. If he has a game manager season and the surrounding cast miraculously is better then most of us think.. I would still want another QB.. If he puts up good individual numbers but the defense fails him then he might prove he deserves a better surrounding cast.  That is the point of the question.. What would Teddy Have to do individually to prove he is the QB of the future..

It depends on the win-loss record. If we're in a position to draft Lawrence or Fields, there's no question we do it.

Agreed on “team stat” point, but crucially, it’s said “team stat” that may well prevent the Panthers from acquiring an upgrade in next year’s draft.
