Do you think the Cam situation will end up being similar to the Kelvin Benjamin situation?

The threads some of you come up with never ceases to amaze me.

what a dumb thread

KB was perceived as lazy, nobody thinks that of Cam

Think what he’s trying to say is...will Cam still be able to play. I can’t imagine worse coaching to pair up with cam than Rivera and Shula. But the difference is health vs. laziness. And cam is not as young and can’t help but think he won’t be back like he was. Still can make plenty of money as a viable back up. Not to say he won’t start somewhere, just really depends on his health and new team’s plan for him.

KB was lazy and had injury concerns those two do not mix well together no matter what coaches or team he goes to.

Cam needed to eat MORE. Kelvin needed to eat LESS. That is all.

None of them are that talented,  despite their desire to make up a fantasy.

We're comparing KB to a former MVP that dominated the league in 2015 and had one of the best QB seasons in the history of the NFL?    The guy who put his body on the line each game and taking hits to someone that didn't ever us his huge frame correctly?

I dont remember anyone being upset about KB's release.  All I remember were memes about cheeseburgers

People here so easily triggered by the comparison. He's not saying they are similar as players or personalities, he's saying that their career trajectory and effectiveness after leaving maybe similar.

Cam left because of injury after 8 seasons and leading this team on its most successful run in team history.

KB left after 3.5 seasons of inventing new ways to be lazy on the field, and eating so much he can’t see his dick when he stands up without a mirror.

   Sure. Sounds similar.

Is that you PU? Kelvin ate himself out of the league, if he would've focused on nutrition he might still have a gig but instead he wanted to blame other people.

you mean the all new coaching staff who haven't called a single play for Cam in their careers? no, i don't think they know something we don't.

Of course they do. Don't fool yourself.

This is true if Rhule and his new staff made the decision. Even then it would be informed by the GM and owners knowledge based on what they had seen in past seasons. Is it fair to say the messages about Cams recovery and availability didn't match up with the reality?

My opinion? The person who made the decision about QB moving forward was Tepper. He made his decision based on Cam being injured for pretty much the entire duration of Tepper's tenure. He wanted a clean slate and was likely sick of this franchise being about Cam all the time when he was doing nothing to justify it. If that is so, the new coaching staff wouldn't have defied him.

He isn't comparing how they got to the point of leaving, he is saying what happens next maybe similar.

So Cam will eat his way off his next team and blame everyone but himself. Then get a shot with the league MVP and still suck.

If Cam is done it’s 100% because of injury. Certainly not effort. And why isn’t the OP who brought this up in here explaining what he meant? Not one word. Or are you just both people with your numerous alts?

Compare him to Jake Delhomme. A QB with injuries. Not a WR who “KFC-ed” his career.
