If he drops to 7 you take him.

he can sit behind Teddy for 1-2 seasons. Teddy is really a 2 year contract.

people wanting to wait forget if we win 7-8 games,.. are not getting your wet dream QBs from next year.

so you take the QB

but what about seeing what pj Walker is made of man

Teddy is going to suck

Rhule will be fired faster than Chip Kelly....

otherwise he’s going to look like Jeff Fishers retarded cousin coaching for the Panthers,..

Seems like you are pulling against the best interests of the Panthers.

Rhule's Rules rule.

It's Teddy Time.

Haters gonna hate...

It Tua is there then who else is gone. It isn't Tua over anyone else, it is whether Tua is BPA at the point. If Brown is there or Simmons then you some great choices.

I just hope we've done our due diligence on him. If we didn't not expecting him to be there then shame on us. It'd be awkward sitting there at #7 with him on the board having not done our homework on him, especially on the injury front. Teddy Bridgewater on the roster is no reason at all to pass on a guy if we think he's a potential legit franchise NFL QB.

If you think Tua has a chance to be a very good to great QB it doesn't matter who else is there.  A QB is so much more important to the success of your team then any other position that if you have a chance to a get a franchise guy you don't pass.

A QB is like a pitcher on a baseball team, they have a bigger influence on you winning and losing then any other position and its not even close.

A "healthy" Tua would be the number one pick a lot of years.  You don't pass on that hoping to get Trevor next year.  There is no guarantee that you are going to be that bad.  Franchises can go decades without getting a top pick, if he is healthy you would take him.  Honestly though if he makes it to 7, there is a reason.

I’m just hoping hurney has one more ace in the hole, if we go qb I’m hoping it’s a vintage hurney 1st rounder hof bound guy. Tua maybe it, just hope we scope him out just in case he falls to .

this Teddy Bridgewater mania people are trying to start is going to disappoint a lot of you.

Wow, let’s all believe that Walker is the next Warren Moon. They just fall off the tree like leaves.

If Hurney drafts Tua, I’ll be the first one to say give Marty life time extension.

Some people still think that you can win a Super Bowl like the Ravens (Dilfer) and Bucs (Johnson) with a great defense in today’s NFL. Eagles/Foles did it with Pederson, their head coach. If Tua falls to 7, it’s not because of his QB play but concerns about his health.

ESPN's David Newton noted "don't be shocked" if the Panthers pursue Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa or Oregon's Justin Herbert if either player is still on the board when they pick at No. 7 overall.

“Bridgewater is a safety net in the event one of the top quarterbacks isn't available in the draft. He looked terrific last season with 1,384 yards, nine touchdowns and a 67.9 completion percentage in nine games for the New Orleans Saints, including five starts when Drew Brees was out with a thumb injury.”
