New England will be good for Cam.

Patriots invest in QB protection as part of their standard operating procedures. Something the Panthers never did once during Cam's tenure. It's already a step up for him. I honestly think he's going to rock out there.

In New England, we're going to get a glimpse of what Cam could have been if ole nippleshorts wasn't actively trying to murder him for half a decade.

lol. you might want to look into these proclamation you are making. Patriots are well on their way to having one of the worst olines in the league this year. Also, take a look at why Brady wasn't successful last year. He was top 5 in QBs facing the most QBH's and QBP's....

It's going to be exciting seeing how Cam does with a HOF coach. It's in his court now, his competion is weak AF and if he could heal up he has done it by now.

I keep comparing him to Ted and I keep not being excited to see us trot out another Delhomme quality offense at best. Just feels like we went from possibly winning any game to straight mediocrity.

weak AF? Bills are going to run that division and the dolphins will have more wins than the patriots.

His competioin in house. Look at that QB room. It's on him at this point with his team.

Bills should be a threat, I can't belive in the Phins. They are like the Browns. Their issues are so intrenched and permeate at every level that it is hard to belive they will get away from shooting themselves in the foot. Even the Bills are not known for producing but project to. This has been an easy division for a long time.

my bad, yeah stidham is not big comp. However, I wouldnt be surprised if they use Cam in a gadget style offense either.

As for the AFC east. The pats will finish 3rd or 4th this year.

Stidham is who I wanted the Panthers to draft instead of Greer. Got him in the 4th vs Greer who. Never should have been a 3rd round pick

New England has used an Earnhardt/Perkins offense since Belichick has been there.  They taylored it more toward the West Coast style in the last 5 or 6  years but it was not always like that.  Back when they went 18-1 it was more of a Coryell style offense.  So it should not be that hard to change back if that's what they want to do.  But if you think Cam is going to get alot of help from his surrounding cast , you might want to look at it again.  His O-line might not be so bad, better than the one's he had here since the Super Bowl but his WR and TE, yeah not so good.  Like 2017 here, not so good.  There defense better be good because a 2015 return to form Cam might just mean the offense is average.

It will be interesting to see how far the controlling and emotionless Belichick will allow Cam to be himself.  From Superman and dabbing gestures to sideline towelhead mopping, Cam’s  expressiveness has been the antithesis of the Patriot way.  Was this discussed prior to signing or will it play out on the field.

Was Gronk's on field persona really all that different from Cam's?

Cam having a towel on his head has always been overplayed and misunderstood. He picked it up from one of his idols, Michael Jordan. A towel over the head on the bench in the NBA is commonplace. I'm too young to remember if MJ originated that or not, but he was certainly the one who popularized it.

I think bellinchek is pretty good at taking chances with players. Six rings should say that along with signing players like randy moss and others

he is at a very low risk...a cheap one year deal. If it doesn’t work, he has lost nothing g and gained draft position. If it does work, good for both them and Newton

I think Cam will have more pressure on him, not less like Zod thinks. He has to fill Brady's shoes. That's massive. The local and now national media will be on Cam like never ever before. He's in for a wild ride ... if he even starts.

Not really sure how NE goes with Cam. It really could go so many ways and that is one of them. I'm interested to see what happens. I have criticized how we used Cam so this is a chance to see what the best coach in football can do with him.

The Bills have been looking good but need to make it over the hump of project and into producing regularly. If Cam fails in NE then it's the Bills to take. Of he produces then it will not be a cake walk.
