Kinda looking forward to seeing Woodrow Hamilton again to see if he can build off that game.

That is the attitude to have--this season is about developing talent so we enter free agency and the draft knowing what we have.

David NewtonESPN Staff Writer

Panthers' injury report: DNP Dennis Daley (ankle), Kawann Short (foot). Limited: DE Brian Burns (thigh). Matt Rhule says he's hopeful Short can play against the Chargers. “He's an All-Pro caliber player, so you hate losing those guys,'' Rhule said. Daley is progressing, but not likely to be back this week.

Can’t wait until we make the 10 million cap savings official when we cut Short

Good news on YGM, hopefully he can rebound a bit from his lackluster debut.

Biggest thing I'm going to be looking for this season is development from our young DL. YGM, Burns and Brown all need to show some serious progress as the year moves along. We got literally no pressure at all through the first 6 quarters but the last half was definitely an improvement even with no sacks. I'm not expecting YGM or Brown to be great immediately but hopefully they progress a bit. Burns should be further ahead and really 10 sacks and fairly consistent pressure should be achievable, even with the slower start to the year. Would be disappointed with less than that from Spidey.

So both Little and Daley are tracking towards busts? Well that upsets about 40% of the Huddle. The 40% that largely had their head in the sand.

There you go again. What happened to the three year waiting period to judge draftees still  on the team. Maybe being injury prone, needing to bulk up and learn better technique is why many struggle. If you are as premature in everything.......

I'm still holding out hope for Daley, but if Little is healthy and we can't find a place for him on the field somewhere on the OL then he must be atrocious.

It doesn't matter if Daley doesn't pan out. He's a 6th round draft pick so we've probably gotten a pretty decent amount out of him even if he never plays another down here.

Little, however........my God what another classic Hurney bust.

6th round bust lol.  We've already gotten more from him in his rookie season than most teams get from their 6th rounders' entire careers.

Daley was a win if he never plays another down for the team. Started and played admirably at LT last season. For a 6th round pick, that's a pretty good value. Can't say the same for Greg Little.

Daley is a longshot that filled in as a 3rd stringer and looked good in camp as far as I have heard. I'm cool with that and either way.

Little isn't pushing to start going against the backup LG who is awful so that's not looking good and considering what we spent on getting him here the only positive to date is that we didn't waste a 1st on him.

I don't care if KK comes back, play anyone else that has a shot to make next years roster. It's fun seeing the young guys out there getting playing time and trying to earn something. That's fun football for me this year.

Little a LT thats what he was draft for not a G. 2 different body types give him time. Daley earned a starting role and people are saying bust? What more can he do? KK can sit or play but next year it will be time to move on.

Calling Daley a bust was definitely dumb. There is really no such thing as a 6th round bust.

I should have pointed out that this is two guys that in year two have spent more time off the field for injuries than on the field. That doesn't bode well for their careers.

We need YGM in the field getting experience. YGM, Brown, and Burns are our future at defensive line with Chinn roaming free behind them.
