(rumors) Charlotte Bobcats - Clevland Cavs

Vesely is 6'11, he doesn't play small forward lol.

So is Dirk, and he has. Durant is 6'9" and longer than a lot of PF's.

He's not playing small forward, especially if they amnesty Blatche.

Washington likes Barnes/Beal/MKG, they will take which ever one they can get.

Dirk doesn't play small forward? He is a power forward.

Kevin Durant is a small forward because of his athleticism and his ability to score.

I have seen Vesely play, he is not small forward material.

Did I say he DOES play SF? No, I said he HAS in the past. Past tense ftw.

He will if they draft Robinson.

Hey if they pass on Barnes, that's fine with me.

At least you can now admit there is a chance. That was all I was trying to point out.

If we pick #2 it's gonna be Robinson. However, I believe the FO wants Barnes & will trade back to pick him at #4. If WAS picks Barnes we still get Robinson. Really no risk trading back.

Absolutely no risk in trading back to #4. We'll get one of the players we're targeting.

we've said we want Smack to be a power forward, not a center. I'm not sure

I like taking Robinson when we need so much else.

Report out of Cleveland saying that the Bobcats are asking Cleveland for picks 4, 24, and 34 in exchange for #2.

Doubt that is what we end up with but hopefully something gets done

Hearing Cavs /Bobcats talking.
want #2 pick..would give #4 #24 #34

Telich of Fox 8 is a respected sportscaster in the Cleveland area, and most definitely has his finger on the pulse. The Bobcats are in a unique position where controlling their own destiny isn't really of huge importance. Unlike the Cavs who are looking to add that final, developmental piece, Charlotte are in dire need of help all over the court, and have as many as four players they would be comfortable using their first pick on after spending significant time with Thomas Robinson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Bradley Beal, and Harrison Barnes. Selecting 4th overall would still ensure one of these players, and if they're close in the eyes of ‘Cats scouts then it's a simple decision.

If MJ/Cho could get the 4, 24, and 34 picks for the #2, it would be a HUGE win for the Cats.

Get it done.
