The shoes are close to needed replacement, but I should be able to get another 50-100 miles out of them. I do try to focus on posture and breathing isn't an issue. I could go fast but I messed up my leg preparing for the 10K earlier this year. I'm progressing slower. This is also the last pair of Nike running shoes I get. My previous pair was New Balance and I was happier with them.

Obviously I know shoes, but I also remember reading an article a few months ago. Use this flowchart from runners world to pick best shoe. If you actually are dealing with pain often, you can also try a show like Z-coil. I got a pair when dealing when plantar fasciitis

Just curious, anyone here use a fuel band from Nike? I want to track and raise my cardio and activity during week. There is a competition called the fitbit, but I already rules that out,

From what I understand, the fitband is a pedometer that goes on your wrist. Jerk off and it tracks that as a workout. Do push ups and nothing.

You can get an arm strap and a free app on your phone and have the same information.

Cruising past 175 on my bulk.

I've had such a good time with this, I may keep going past 185 all the way to 200...

I got the Fitbit at Verizon when I bought my new phone the other day...  they gave me a discount...

Needless to say, the dipshit didn't bother to check and it doesn't work with my phone...

It did work with my wife's iPhone so she tried it for a few days...  not worth it in our opinion.  Doesn't really do much... you have to put in so much data yourself, what's the point?

Being returned.

Yep I have an app that tracks runs, bike rides, etc but I never remember to use it. You can manually put in other workouts and it tracks calories.

I've only manually entered a workout once and never bothered with the diet portion.

Its for someone a little more serious than me.

What are folks thoughts about whether cardio should go before or after lifting. Me, I am doing it afterward (run 1.5 miles on treadmill and 3 miles on stationary bike). I wonder though if it would be better to do it first. On leg day I am struggling with this. What say you?

fitness is a lifestyle, not an app or a trendy bracelet

are you sure? I'm pretty sure buying an adidas watch drops 8 pounds the same way an STI sticker on a civic adds 15 hp

Cardio either between lifting days or after lifting. You want to be able to give you lifts all you have. If it is too taxing to run after lifting, run the day after lifting.

when i'm feeling young i'll go hit a 5 minute interval session on the ropes before and after my resistance routine.   sometimes hill sprints.    just something to get the blood pumping and wake me up

I do a little cardio before I lift, but nothing strenuous.  I mainly do cardio after lifting... helps me not be so sore too.
