Anyone else tired of Smitty?

Recommended Posts

wow, i wish i was a mod...

Why? Again. Why should I be modded for this? For saying im getting tired of our WRs antics of looking like a mental patient off his meds? saying IN public basically our QB needs to become a man and grow up? again privately is fine, but publicly? lets not even forget at times his fumbling because of very questionable ball carrying. Yes, his childish antics are starting to bother me. Sorry if I violated any rules in being a Panther fan

Smitty is the greatest Panther of all time. That's how he plays. Either you're a Camwagoner and you aren't use to Smitty's emotions or you're just another extremely whiney Panther fan.

No, give it a rest already. Without Smitty our offense will be shittier. The two people i'm getting tired of is a)LaFell for not running away and putting up big stats as the #2 receiver b)Chud for this crap offense he is trotting out. It was fine to ease Cam in last year but for fug's sake use a pro-style set with your great RBs and open things up for your #1 WR.

With that said, as bad as we need help on D, I think we're going to need to draft a future #1 WR in the first to open up our passing game.

I know this probably wont go over well but I am starting to get a little tired of Smitty. He acts like a 5 year old that throws temper tantrums and is off his meds. It seems like every game he is starting a fight and is always wrestling on the ground with a opposing DB. Then you have the fiasco of him calling out Cam publicly after the Giants game. I know this part isnt entirely his fault but here we are heading imto game 6 and he doesnt have a single TD yet, not one! I am actually shocked he hasnt been flagged once yet for unsportsman like conduct with all the fights he starts. He might be a proven vet and I can accept him being just a little scrappy but lately it seems like he cares more about starting a fight.

Not one solitary, singular, sole, lone iota. I hope puts a jet pack on a wheel chair and plays till he's 100.

Yeah let's bash Smitty!! I hate it when he wears his heart on his sleeve and plays with passion ... so immature!! Gosh I hate it when scuffles with CB's and lights a fire in his teammates ... you suck Smitty, quit being a child!! You have only been in the league for 12 years as one of the most respected NFL WR's and greatest Panther ever ... but but but ... i'm tired of your antics, you big whiny boo boo.

/sigh

Like ranked 32nd shittier. Quit the option-read. Teams have caught up to it. Run it like 2-3 times a game but pound the freaking rock the rest of the game. I also think Olsen needs to be the 2nd read after Smitty. Gettis better strap on his jock strap tight and take control on the #2 WR spot. We need his speed. LaFell is a clutch 3rd down option. Oh, and can we run some screen passes to Tolbert and give him anything close to the goal line?

No, its because you suck as a fan, thats why you should be "modded" for this. You think you are edgy and unfiltered when in reality you're just an idiot.

Smitty? The best offensive player in franchise history? THAT Smitty???

Yeah... no, suffice it to say that I'm not tired of Smitty.

I realize it's been a terribly disappointing season so far, but good god, let's keep a little perspective here.

    • I think it will take a 3 year deal to entice him. But if you can keep the signing bonus to lets say 10 million and guarantee year 1 salary of 4 million he gets his 14 million out of the gate and we guaranteed all of it. If we guarantee his second year salary of 7 million we are guaranteeing 21 million of his 30 million which is a ton but honestly he has shown to be consistent and productive. With KK and Poe with him they would be productive.  Year three is still a manageable 9 million although his cap would be 12.  Three years from now that will be a huge bargain.
    • Yeah it sounds like we could afford him. The thing that makes me wary of a deal is that we could go one of two ways: 1. Sign a 1 year deal for $11-12 million with no long term risk if his age catches up to him or he starts wearing down from his injuries. This only makes sense if we think we are a DT away from super bowl contention this year because then we lose him next year and still don't have a succession plan after we invariably cut Poe and get rid of Butler. 2. We give him a 3 year, 30 million deal, but then if he starts showing his age or perhaps isn't as effective in our system, we're saddled with a decent sized contract for at least a couple years. Now suddenly we're paying 3 defensive tackles way more than they're worth while having holes to fill elsewhere in the roster. I was hoping he was looking at something in the 7-8 million range, in which case I'd say go for it. Once $11 million was leaked as the going price, I'm thinking we should bow out of this one and go for a more affordable option like Bailey if we still think we need to shore up the position.
    • There has been a bill in the Congress of the USA for decades asking for reparations. YC or AM didn't invent the idea. What I find funny is that only Democrats are being asked to take positions on Reparations. How many Republicans sponsored that bill? ZERO. And no, none of them is asked a single question about it. The reparations issue is not a presidential issue (alone). Before the bill even make it to the desk of any president, it needs to go through the normal process in Congress, which will require 100 sponsors to make it to the floor. But strangely, none of the people running for office, who will be discussing this are even asked about it. And you want to tell me ... this is NOT about re-electing a Russian Agent? I really hope you actually understand how politics works in the USA.
