I cant imagine how good this team can be.  Its nice seeing actual coaches who know what they are doing out there.

GREAT NEWS!!!

Al Jefferson has informed the Bobcats that he will travel to Las Vegas to watch the guys participate in Summer League.

I have a feeling that Big Al is going to be a big fan favorite.

Wow, that is awesome!  We've got some good guys with Al and Kemba.  In the presser, Al actually said he and Kemba share the same agent and that Kemba was recruiting him even before he gave a thought to signing with us.  That is almost unheard of to have a veteran guy go support and watch the young guys in summer league...  I don't even recall seeing it before.

I meant to post this last week, but never got around to it but, with this news, what better time than now?

First game is tomorrow at 11:00 P.M.

The Spurs have some decent players in Hollis Thompson, James Mays, Marcus Denmon, Durand Scott, and Deshaun Thomas; then some experienced NBA guys in Dexter Pittman, Nando De Colo, and Kris Joseph.

For one last year... Go Cats!!!

Poo my bad lol, you saved me. I even have the right time in the OP. I guess I remembered the USA/Belize soccer match being at 11 a few nights ago and confused it with that.

Thanks for the heads up or I would have missed most of the game.

No problem. Yeah, I am looking forward to this one more than any Summer League game I can remember.

    • Hey... That's all fine and dandy if we draft a future Superbowl winning QB, I'm all for it. What do you realistically think the chances of that happening is? And how long would it take for him to develop into that? We have a LOT of talent on offense RIGHT NOW. CMC, DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel, Ian Thomas, there are pieces there! If we can TRULY get Cam Newton back at 100% healthy, then we could potentially get 3 to 6 years of playoff calibre football (YES, Cam must become a different passer!). In the meantime, we can STILL rebuild. Rebuild the offensive line and glaring holes in the defense (I don't know which one is worse this year). And at the same time find that QB that may be the future of the franchise. Is it on the team now? Maybe, maybe not... I think at this point ruling Cam out completely is VERY shortsighted.
    • Hahahahaha lots of speculate bullshit for a guy who “knows what he’s talking about” A.) So we will trade Cam for poo picks B.) Trade Cam for large group of picks/really good picks (meaning we among other teams think or know he can get healthy) C.) Cut Cam for nothing D.) Let Cam play the year out at $19 million and see what he can do E.) Let him sit out and now teams have 3 years worth of questions which kills any contract negotiations Cam might have for an extension from us or someone else Which sounds most likely? Just because you claim to be smart doesn’t mean you are. The only thing that makes sense is letting him play it out, if he sits it kills his leverage with other teams. If we trade him for nothing we are guessing he’ll never be healthy again and with what we have right now why in the hell would we do that?    Rebuilds don’t have to be stripping the entire team down you would think for you watching football for 40 years you might know that One edit - How do you know he is washed up? He’s had two injuries...do you have a crystal ball? Or is your F150 fan club sure of it
    • The writing is on the wall. I have just been watching football for 40 years and know the signs when i see them. Cams agent already knows that we arent going to extend him next year. That is why cam isnt at the games. He will either be traded or hold out. I am 99% sure of that. Couple that with the fact that we are rebuilding and it doesnt look good for a washed up qb that cant run the ball anymore and cant stay healthy.  And i am sure there are more than 5 or 6 of us that can see this... it is just that they care about the dummies pooing them or whatever while i dont give a poo. I call it like i see it. Poo me now, but bump this thread at the beginning of the 2020 season and see who was right.
