Official Huddle Playoff Tickets Contest #2 - Pure Poetry

Recommended Posts

Across the field, painted black, blue and white the panthers prowl
Carried by the low, guttural rumble of a hungry growl
The head of the pack with a blazened number one across his chest
Will lead the fight, giving his strength and his best
The Kraken is released supporting his leaders every move
The speed and agility of Williams and Smith will surely come through
Complete Domination is inevitable in Kuechly's hands
All fight as one devastating force at their coach's commands
This day under the blaring lights of the sun and stadium we knew
That blood, sweat and tears will be shed that are black and blue
KEEP POUNDING! Till we're standing at the pearly gate
Of the only destination in sight, SuperBowl 48!

PIE If you like. :)

As I don my silver black and blue,

I'm overcome by a pride that is felt by few

My superstitions in check my resolve like steel

I await the kickoff with a frightful zeal

From the foot of Gano the ball flies high

As I roar like a panther who won't be denied

I steady my heart, the only weapon I wield

As our mighty defense takes the field

They pound, they crush they battle for glory

Writing their very own Superbowl story

None can escape their insatiable need

When the Kraken is hungry the Kraken will feed

With their enemies battered our defense is done

And onto the field flies the true number one

With legs like Hermes and an arm like Zeus

He evades all comers and sets the ball loose

It soars through the heavens on wings of myth

This comet comes down to the demigod Smith

With guile and and skill unmatched by all

He crosses the plane and seems ten feet tall

A celebration later and the game is over

I release my horseshoe and four leaf clover

The win was amazing, the victory astounding

The most important lesson learned was just

KEEP POUNDING

Illeterate cockburglar,

Wearer of Dolphin hats.

Give no credit to the Panther defense

That held you to humiliating stats.

History will repeat itself,

And as your smug ass slumps slowly off the field,

Fans will cheer.  You're eyes will tear,

Your sphinkter will pucker with fear.

For you will have learned the truth:

The Panthers are here.

seperate work:

As the black and blue crowd

Celebrate success,

There's one fan so sad, so caught in distress.

Why is it she cries when the Panther's have won?

Why do tears soak her face

Why does she turn from the sun?

Is it perhaps, though the stats she may skew,

The Saints* implode on the road

And she lost all she knew.

But who is Dat? So alone in this place.

Sitting so Fat, with Dat greasy rapist's face.

She'll compile some stats,

She'll make a wall of excuses,

She'll ignore the facts,

But Alejandro still loses.

bravo.

In the midst of day
Beware the darkness
In places where Monsters dwell

This prowling blackness
A sea of madness
Where many before were felled

Thund'rously roaring
With little to doubt
A Hero controls this black

Swarming and feasting
Breaking and beasting
A River floods to attack

The blackness takes shape
Warriors in blood
Name and number move as one

Memories of pain
Slanders of their names
These Icons prepared to run

They move to destroy
Violence and noise
A throng to empower a few

Beware our Nights
For after this fight
Your vision will fade to blue

As the season started with 3 losses-1 win,

the multitude of Panthers fans thought, oh no..not again.

But little did we know what that Bills loss would don,

the unexpected birth of Riverboat Ron.

After saying to his wife during their dinner,

honey we're not relevant....fast forward, now were winners.

Game after game we continued to win,

we'd all rush to our PC's to read Carolina Huddle again.

8 in a row and now 11 of the last 12...7 and 1 at "Our House"

putting the wine and cheesers on the shelf.

The Kraken conquered O-Lines like Neil Armstrong conquered the moon,

he dominated breakfast, cereal NO SPOON.

Cam was a leader and Kuechly a beast,

our entire defense viewed opposing offenses as their feast.

Smitty was Smitty, the heart and soul of the team,

now after all of his loyalty is close to his dream.

The time is nie, and as an old friend said Niners..come Get Some,

Sam Mills family will be beating the Keep Pounding Drum.

After each win 2 claps and a Whoooo.

The Hell with A Whoo..we are 3 wins away from a dream come TRUE!

49er fans

Get in the kitchen

Start cooking my Rice-a-Roni

Did I just hear you bitchin?

Shut that pie hole

And know your role

The San Francisco treat

That poo doesn't even have meat

Now toss my salald

While I watch the Monsters eat

The humidity was awful. My head dizzy and confused to what horrific picture lay sprawled before me.

The scene, chaotic and yet mute of emotion. To awake here like this was a bit much to digest.

Trapped and torn by the wreckage I lay helpless, a prisoner.

My life forever changed that day, but would it be for the better?

The heavens had set forth the motions of what would create a most unlikely hero for a tragedy stricken young man.

Lost and reeling after the accident, I found myself wandering, searching for something to make me whole again.

Losing a limb at 17 isn't the end of the world but it feels like it in the moment.

Food had no taste, music had no song, life had ceased to provide joy or fulfillment of any kind.

Weary and at the lowest depths of personal despair a singular act, a snippet in time and space, a wonderful, beautiful moment that would, in a blink, change my future in ways I would not fully understand for years to come.

A small man, in his own right, became a shining beacon of hope in a time when hope was in short supply.

In that moment, emblazoned in my memory, my miracle was unfolding before my eyes and even as it happened its meaning would lay hidden waiting for me.

As the small man blurred across the television screen weaving and pouring speed on top of speed I watched in wonder.

I actually felt something, I felt it deep inside where I believed myself to be all but dead.

As quickly as it began it was over.

Days turned to weeks, months and years. With this passing of time my miracle moment began to come back to me with more and more meaning.

I devoured information and devoted my every spare second to watch the fiery, lightening bolt that had given me hope again.

His story screamed out to me as he triumphed over life's obstacles and those who doubted him.

No longer enslaved to my own doubts and self pity I took control of my life and began reconstructing it piece by broken piece.

The pint sized speedster dominated his opponents and forced his detractors to respect him, I forged ahead with his example leading the way.

13 years later, a once broken and lost teenager with his unlikely hero has become a success story of his own making.

A business owner, a husband and most importantly a father.

To all that I am, what I have come from, the trials and tribulations I have endured, nothing was as important to my own recovery than the first time I saw Steve Smith take the field.

One day I will get to share my story with the man that inspired me to overcome those who said I couldn't.

The #89 will forever mean hope and resilience. I will never quit, never give up and will always Keep Pounding.

People say there are no more hero's left but they are wrong. I have mine and his name is 89, bottom line.

Through the seasons there has been ups and downs

But that has never stopped my pound!

My heart bleeds Panther blue

I'm loud and I'm proud - This is true

We're going to send San Fran-sissy-co home

Kraken will make Kaepernick moan

He eats his cereal with no spoon

Knocks the o-lineman to the moon

We've also got Superman and Clark Kent

The Super Bowl is where we are meant

We ARE NY bound

49ers, Seattle, nor Saints can stop THIS pound!

Panther Nation!!

Keep Pounding!
