When I watched the replay I will say that I saw the same thing. He didn’t fight through the contact. I don’t think he could get to it but his lack of football IQ came into play a bit. If he fights inside, he might draw a flag. It was a bad throw by Young, but it looked like the CB on him was not looking back. He’s got to learn how to draw a flag to save his QB because Young does that stuff. Also, that play has worked once and it was likely a lucky perfect pass. Can we stop going to XL on that play? Even on that TD he was well covered. It’s a terrible play that doesn’t work.

TBH, I would lay more credit on the DB than blame on Bryce for that play. That really was just a great play on the ball.

100%, everyone can see it. But if I were to say this, it's just me complaining that my guy isn't getting TD's, instead of just objective analysis. And it's not even Bryce, it's Canales, as most of the time you can see the first read of those plays are to XL and he never looks T-Mac's way.

Teams have gotten burned by QB's slowly striding for the sideline and then turning up field. If Bryce wants to avoid hits he can't decide the play is over before it is. He risked his own safety, not the defender.
