  1. Past hour
  2. 206 yards passing gets nominated for this now? What are we even doing here?!?!
  3. I gotta disagree here, reason being that our OL coaching is significantly improved.
  4. If the argument is Zavala vs. Curhen, the battle is already lost.
  5. She's not sitting on an island alone with this opinion either.
  6. Hunt is fairly overrated by our fans. Damn good player but we will be fine with Corbett back at OG. Better than losing Hunt for a large chunk of the offseason.
  7. Ring chasing is a real thing, even in the NFL.
  8. I'll take solid with a couple of bad plays over Zavala being awful on just about every pass blocking opportunity. Curhen was on the Cardinal's practice squad for a reason - he isn't very talented. That being said, I think he has done a solid job in the games he has played.
  9. Im not disagreeing with your logic and it would be mine as well. We've just seen a lot of stupid things play out when it comes to Bryce and the way he's been handled. I have no idea what big daddy Dave will mandate though. He's not exactly been the best at leaving football decisions to football people.
  10. It's just a convenient narrative meant to make fun of the team. Want to see a bad fanbase, go to a Falcons game. They built that new stadium for the Atlanta United, not the shitty Falcons.
  11. Some people want a different kind of quarterback, a few of them because they can't let go of Cam Newton. They may (or in a few cases, may not) acknowledge Cam isn't coming back, but even in that scenario they still want somebody like him. (or at the very least, someone bigger and stronger than Bryce) I want better than Bryce too, but when it comes down to it, winning will always be the most important thing. It happening with a player I'm conflicted about does not diminish my enjoyment to even the most miniscule degree.
  12. The above scenario would be a nightmare for Carolina. It's tough having to make decisions on who to keep and who to let go. You have to look at which position can I spend less on and still get similar production. In our case I think it would be the quarterback position. For most teams with a legitimate franchise QB, that decision would/should be easy. It's hard to replace a guy like Mahomes, Allen, or Stafford in terms of production. Those guys can make any throw and can carry a team on their backs to compensate for the weaker areas of the roster. However, a starting QB who does not produce at an ELITE level and needs the team to carry them is easier to replace than solid LT. I'm not giving Young a 45+ million deal prior to his 4th year at the expense of a solid left tackle when the said QB isn't even a top 10 QB in his own CONFERENCE.
  13. Probably deserves its own thread but remember that unsportmanlike penalty we got? The one responsible... was Dave Canales. Thankfully didn't matter but still...
  14. He's the scariest player we've ever had. He's absolutely dogshit, but once or twice a season he bumbles into a decent start and you're left terrified that the owner is going to press the GM into activating his 5th year option. It's no way to live.
  15. Every time he has a good game, he gets nominated. Which is twice this year haha
