  2. This is the answer if you can't go with a QB. But I think Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow could make the offense good enough to have a SB caliber team in spite of the defense. Great OL with a ton of weapons, even if they're young outside of Thielen, I think those 3 could have us contending this year. We'd basically be very similar to the Bengals last year, who just missed the playoffs because of their terrible start to the season, but if they snuck in, they'd have been as dangerous as any team in the AFC last year. They gave up the 7th most points in the league last year but still had a positive points differential. Chase/Higgins is better than T-Mac/XL of course, but Thielen is a crazy upgrade over Iosivas in the slot, Coker is far better than 4th WR who had 107 yards in 14 games, we have a significantly better OL, and Chuba/Rico is better than Brown/Moss last year. So combine our offense with an improved if not yet great defense, and yea, one of those 3 QB's would win the South with us and be a contender. Now we may not actually win a SB because of the defense come playoff time, but we'd be contenders. So actually, maybe we'd be last year's Lions just without the injuries being why the defense wasn't good enough?
  3. This goes to show you don't have to be a prick because you have money. Situations can change quickly. Some of you guys on here should pay attention as well
  4. Without Hurts he doesn't have that kind of year and their OL is a monster, Barkley did diddly squat for the giants.
  5. A top 3 TE would make us super bowl contenders..... LOL on what fuging planet The only answer is a top tier QB. Was this thread started by the draft Warren at 8 crowd?

  7. If we’re talking right now, there’s no single defensive player. There is no offensive skill position player. And no OL. It comes down to Mahomes & Allen. I wouldn’t trust Lamar.
  8. If we are leaving God-King Mahomes out of the equation, then my answer would be Chris Jones or Dexter Lawrence. It all starts up front.
  9. Depends how good Nikishin's English is I guess. Wouldn't it make sense for him to pair with another Russian?
  10. Not a bad strategy to let a team like the Giants or Panthers assume all the draft risk. If you have a good team, you can buy a star back that panned out after their 1st contract.
  11. Only one of the major sports leagues felt the need to introduce a mid-season tournament to try and make the players care. And what happens? They have special courts and uniforms and they sit stars because they don't care to win the stupid tournament. League's a complete mess right now. The numbers speak for themselves.
  12. He sure is getting a lot of love for a sixth rounder. I see the potential. I love our WR room now....Love it. Love it more than a man should. I am waiting for the focus to turn to Ransom--if you consider value and round, I am more excited about Princely and Ransom that I am any other picks. I also like the TE room. They are going to surprise some folks.
  13. I get what you mean, but we have a lot of pieces that weren't here for CMC. With CMC I feel like we rarely had a solid QB and WR duo for the offense to play around. Now I think we have potential for that and that would open up CMC's game a lot; also opening up the offense for Bryce (who can also use his legs) and 3 good young WRs and a vet.

  15. Lamar or Josh Allen. Need the legs and the arm to have a chance to beat anyone any time. Yes, players haven't been able to get to the finish line with their own teams that are stronger all together than ours, but both of those guys give you a chance to beat anyone any time - just like how things used to be with Cam.
  16. Meh… I wish there was a network that has all sports. This thing will fail.
  17. Neither Barkley nor even a healthy CMC would move the needle much for us. Those are guys that impact teams that already have impressive overall offenses and defenses, so they can perform the complimentary roles that make them actually valuable. We should know that specifically because CMC almost never moved the needle on bad Panthers team after bad Panthers team. Ask Giants fans about that with Saquon.
  18. I would generally disagree. You see a lot more load management than previously but that is because being healthy in the playoffs is such a key factor. Different philosophies in that regard than previous generations. Baseball really doesn't matter until at least halfway through the season. I am not gonna say they don't play hard but the physical demands are infinitesimal in the MLB in comparison to basically any other major pro sport. People dislike all the shooting these days but that's a direct correlation with how much the overall skill level of the average NBA player has drastically risen over the past 15ish years. There are other aggravating factors, certainly, but that is the biggest one in terms of playing style differences. So many of the guys from the 80's and 90's wouldn't even be able to play in the modern NBA at all. The biggest problem the NBA has with the American market(they are the only US sport that has any real international appeal or interest, minus the NHL) is that they are so steadily corrupt and fix the systems against the small market teams. Well, you eventually lose a big chunk of the league viewership/potential viewership in the process. Take the very obviously fixed NBA draft lotteries. Superstar and upper tier star players rarely want to play for small market teams, nor can they usually afford to pay them. So how do you expect them to possibly compete in that environment?
