  1. Past hour
  2. That depends, who is his QB,does the coach get to pick his own or is he forced to play a bust for two seasons.
  3. This... 100%... The way all this has gone down has really been so deflating.
  4. I agree the post is a bit ridiculous and there's so many worse players overall because of off field attributes. Bryce is seemingly pretty likeable off field. But in terms of on field, I would argue he has done more damage to my personal enjoyment of watching Panthers football than any other player because we're 40 games in to it. There are absolutely worse players. Fields may be the only one that's been given more chances, and (I know this is purely subjective) I find him more fun to watch even if he is also infinitely annoying in his inability to put it together. I'd still never say he's my least favorite player. But man, I can barely watch Panthers games these days and I get so deflated when I realize it isn't one of his decent games we get every 5+ games. But at least the D resurgence has me enjoying seeing DB chuck people across the field.
  5. We need Chatty and Slavin healthy. They really limit the mistakes our sketchier defenseman make.
  6. I agree the fact that the FO doubled and then tripled down on this, built the entire team around him and he is still at best the 31st best starting QB in the league makes this way worse than it would have been had he just sucked and everyone acknowledged that and moved on. Now it just gets to a point where you have to wonder why waste your time watching this every Sunday. Imagine a 2 year old coming up to you to tell you a story, and you being actually invested in the plot of the story, the character development etc. Thats what people that continue to watch the BY Panthers look like to me.
  7. I'm talking about on the field watchability. Even if Bryce sucked but was still occasionally entertaining I don't think I would have stopped watching in week fuging 1. And I don't think he is a bad person at all either, but that doesn't mean he should continue to be the Panthers QB, and frankly if you compare almost anybody to murders, sociopaths etc that person will come out looking like a great human being.
  8. No one wanted Shane Stichen to come here, that's the guy I wanted. Not like it would have mattered,he was allowed to replace his highly drafted bust QB while we were forced to keep putting ours out there. That's why Tepper can't get any quality coaches and I will die on that hill. Owners should not be making roster decisions, especially decisions on who is starting.
  9. Yea none of those guys made me willingly miss Panther games,Bryce has. And I'm not the only one, a lot of us feel this way. He has to go after this season, Idgaf what he does down the stretch ,when the season is over take his football career out back and put us out of our misery I really don't give af that he is all nice and gee whiz golly off the football field. Aww shucks. Mickey mouse looking motherfuger.
  10. Because he never was all that,it was bullshit, I don't know why this guy was hyped so much. He wasn't that great at Alabama either. Mac Jones was a better QB for Alabama and I didn't want anything to do with him coming out of college. The Bryce poo was a total mind fug.
  11. That's what they were saying about Nick Sirianni about 2 seasons ago. He also has a .700 winning percentage. People also called Dan Campbell a lunatic upon his hiring.
  12. Slavin is skating again as if four days ago.... goalie is still an issue but watch how much better they all look when hes back.
  13. Yep. He actively avoided us and other bad situations to wait and find a situation that set him up for success. He is a very shrewd guy doing so. Way too smart to be swayed by someone like Tepper.
  14. Pretty much any other NFL level QB,that's why we only have Dalton and a couple other misfits here and there. Everything about Bryces game is not NFL type poo,he does his own thing and it doesn't work at this level.
  15. Today
  16. Ben Johnson appears to be a massive prick. I would question how things would go in rough times with him because I’m sure he becomes an even bigger one then
  17. I would 100% not. He is one of the very few worse than Bryce and actually substantially so. Would have still required a trade up too.
  18. I did NOT want young. I was 50/50 on Johnson and still am kinda. He has a really talented roster. He should be 9-3 with the skill they have. The previous coaches were just idiots. Johnson comes across as one of those guys that can lose composure and the locker room fast. Kinda like Jonathan Gannon. Smart guy, seems to doing well so far.
  19. This team would be wise to cut Chuba this offseason. Save 3 million. Dan has spent a ton of resources on RB in his brief time as GM. Chuba contract. 2nd rounder on Brooks. A 4th on ETN. Signed Rico The ONLY thing Chuba provides is solid pass pro. Other than that they’d be better served giving ETN all of his touches Brooks can’t be depended on at this point unfortunately
  20. I think he’s got guys bought in unlike any coach since Rivera (well, Wilks did briefly), but he struggles with accountability.
  21. Most of the good coaches showed enough to know there was something there in year 1 and kept building on it, even when the situation is a mess. Canales hasn't shown any of that. I also don't really see any improvement either. He just seems overall mediocre. He runs an unimaginative offense but it is a functional NFL offense. As a HC I see nothing impressive. A cheerleader is his peak as far as I can tell. I think he will fail here and go back to being a journeyman OC at this point for other HCs much like him.
  22. The future of the Panthers really depends on what Dave Tepper does-doesn’t do regarding the quarterback situation. Regardless of how adamant he is about not admitting Bryce was the wrong choice at some point he has to move on. If the Savannah Banannas can fill up Bank of America with 74,000 people two nights in a row it should be obvious. Fans will support the Panthers when leadership proves capable. Tepper needs to allow Morgan and Canales to choose their quarterback and move on. Decisions made this offseason will be interesting. In 2015 Bank of America was electric, I would love to see that again.
  23. I didn't say he was wrong just that his "delivery style" which is just regurgitation annoys me
