  1. Past hour
  2. Yep. The narrative is that they were done and then he came back. It's the most common take and I see it more than anything else. This year they didn't make it through a series before Dalton broke his thumb and Young was miraculously healthy the next game with Dalton not being on IR when, I belive, it's the second time he broke his throwing thumb.
  3. People worry about it because of the same huge issue that has affected everything since he was over drafted. QB is such an outsized influence anyway and when they keep trotting him out there hoping for a different result, people need to understand why that is happening. I guess. Man I expected exactly what the Saints did, but didn’t expect it to be That bad from Bryce. Things are really getting interesting.
  4. I think Tepper was largely truthful on what he would do here. He isn’t in on most things. He hires people to do jobs. He is in on the big stuff. Folks probably know what does and doesn’t need a thumbs up or down on. I don’t think he is telling folks what to do exactly. I think when things are glaringly bad…..he goes so, what about X. And there will be talks on X. Until X isn’t a problem. Tepper’s biggest issue thus far IMO is he just hires bad people at the top . But it’s not like he is the Colts owner with a live headset on, on the sideline, behind the coach, taking notes.
  5. If he put down the mandate of Bryce on the hiring of the coach and GM, he can step back and not involve himself in the daily details, with his influence still impacting the daily and the macro view. I agree with the guy that said people would hate me when if I were owner, because it is my way or the highway at the point I own the team. I like to think I would listen to pros and accept their reasoning, until it proved to be flawed and then I would snatch up some of that ownership power and wield it.
  6. Do you know when he stopped throwing the ball over the middle? After his NFL debut where he threw two INTs to Bates because he didn't see him.
  7. Sorry for being dense. I guess you are saying the consensus is what I bolded, and that they were really done with Bryce when they benched him? Or the first part before that? Myself, I didn’t go for that when I saw him get the garbage time opps but I guess I have seen that from people. It would have been nice if the mechanical fixes took, but they obviously haven’t.
  8. He has said previously that he reserves the right to approve or veto whatever he wants. Bunch of foolishness and silly wishful thinking to not believe that statement.
  9. No one here has any concrete idea. Conjecture and speculation only. I don't know why people even worry about this. He has as much or as little day to day involvement as he wants. If I owned the team you guys would hate me because I would be involved in everything!
  10. That morale bomb, you could see that early in the year with the defense I thought. Then they pulled the Miami game out and it got better for a while.
  11. All of it. Tepper is the reason Bryce trots out there every week and proceeds to lay a turd in our punch bowl.
  12. Sitting Bryce last year was just a pivot in the Bryce plans. They were never done with him because it's always been about him. The consensus here is that they were surprised when Dalton fell apart and Bryce looked better after DC had a chance to reset amd work with him, the thing Frank wanted. My guess is that it still is but DC knows he is fugged in that regard now but Tepper is still expecting things to keep going.
  13. Today
  14. If you were handling business then players would not feel compelled to do so, Dave… but you’re just not good at this being a leader of men thing. With every game that you play Bryce, you’re taking money out of 52 other players’ bank accounts. They’re either trying to make incentives on their current deal or trying to ball out so they can cash in on contract #2 which hopefully sets them up for life. I don’t think he even sees it that way. BY holds the entire team back. Purposely not putting the team in the best place to win is a gigantic F you to the entire team (coaches included). Starting Bryce at this point is an atomic bomb on morale.
  15. An interception on a deep vertical route = punt
  16. If the current state of America has taught us anything, it’s that there’s always bootlickers willing to sell out for the billionaires. There’s def still people in the building trying to gargle teppers nuts
  17. I see Morgan as managing the problem as best he can by doing what he can everywhere but that QB room. I don’t know what any person in that job could really do to eliminate the Bryce element unilaterally, without the owner becoming irate. If I have the owner’s position figured correctly, that is. If he can somehow maneuver his way through this poo maybe he gets to tackle the QB room after this year.
  18. I feel like the previous years, there were many reports of him being overly involved in everything. I really haven't heard much this year, so I'm hoping that he got the memo and is taking a step back. Who knows though
  19. Easy answer - our head coach is incompetent and has no business being an NFL coach
  20. What confuses me is if Tepper isn’t forcing Bryce to be the starter, why would Canales risk his own career to start a QB he didn’t pick? Surely he knows he’s not safe in his job?
  21. I agree somewhat, but there aren't any solid options, at least in my mind, so...
  22. We have a consensus? What is it? All I see is arguments about it.
  23. They do practice but you have to remember that actual NFL games are kinda scary so you're being insensitive
