  1. Past hour
  2. If they do, it will be a massive contract flushed down the toilet. There is no valid reason to bring him back. Him returning gives us our 2nd best OL combination, IMO. I believe Corbett is more of a drop off from Mays moving to center than the drop off from Hunt to Corbett at OG. Not using that to say Hunt isn't very good but Corbett at C is atrocious.
  3. I hope they don’t rush him back or let him come back too soon.
  4. On what planet is Hurts the best QB drafted from 2020-2025?? poo, what galaxy?
  5. Hopium is a hellava drug. Anyone sold on Bryce at this point is just being willfully ignorant. Not saying with 100% certainty that he won't pan out at some point but I don't think we have the luxury of waiting another 4-6 seasons for that to happen, if that were even a possibility.
  6. Mays, Horn and Moehrig back are a big deal. The LB's....eh....not that relevant.
  7. Hurts is probably in that tier 2 of NFL QB's and arguably a Tier 3 guy. Ironically, his biggest advantages to a team built like Philly are his legs and him being such a conservative QB's that he keeps TO's very low. So, basically a running game manager. To his credit, he has a 2.4:1 TD:INT ratio. He is also a very accurate passer at almost 65% career completion percentage. So, basically what you want Bryce to be as a successful game managing QB(minus the running).
  8. Yeah, Brooks is a very poor gamble as a backup and Etienne is a true #3 RB, by which I mean if he didn't play special teams he would be on a PS.
  9. Today
  10. Good news. The NFL has become too reliant on QB play.
  11. Dollars.. can't have that little amount of games for they stretch
  12. I was wondering the same myself earlier this year. I think this should be strongly considered in the off-season.
  13. ND is single handedly making me less interested in college football. It's gross to promise a team a spot like that. If they want in the playoffs join a conference or keep sitting on the sidelines.
  14. Oh definitely their passing numbers would be much better with Dak. Stafford, Maye, Dak are my top 3 Qbs for the season. Hurts had a bad game turnover wise but he hasn't thrown many picks this season. They haven't had the dominant run game like their previous Super Bowl seasons, and Hurts needs that to succeed he's not a drop back and throw it 35-40 times type Qb.
  15. I'm saying imagine the passing numbers that the Eagles' offense would be putting up with Dak at QB, not directly trying to compare the skill position talent between the two teams. The Eagles are 21st in the league in passing yardage and 30th in passing TDs with damn good skill position talent. The Cowboys are 1st in both. I don't think there's a huge gap in skill position talent between the two rosters but there's a huge gap in passing production and it's due to the QB position. There's a reason those Eagles WRs are starting to bark. They know the QB position is holding them back. It's gonna be a struggle holding that offensive locker room together with the receivers already frustrated and them on a three game skid with Hurts just having a disaster of a game with 5 turnovers including the back breaker.
  16. Dak has better receivers now. And Williams has nearly 300 more rushing yards in the season than Barkely. What Dak needs is the Eagles defense or any defense.
  17. No, they bottled up our run game and Bryce couldn't execute down field Edit: Rico had 18 carries for 50 yards.
  18. He's better than half the starters in an offense that tailors to his limited skill set. I mean, I'm gonna be honest here... I honestly think the Eagles would be better off with say a Dak Prescott. They'd be a fuging PROBLEM with a Dak Prescott. Imagine Dak throwing to those receivers leaning on Saquan and that defense. The Eagles' D has definitely tailed off a bit this year compared to recent years but they're still the #7 scoring defense in the league vs. #31 that Dak and company have to try to offset every week.
  19. The last time we played them wasn't Canales was doing the cutesy 1 series per RB thing instead of rotating and going with the hot hand?
  20. Yea but saying he’s severely limited and requires some college offense is really underselling him as a player. He is a role player but he’s better than half the starters.
  21. He was off all day but he's a good QB and has been solid for much of the season. He's made plays. He may not be elite imo but he's very good still.
  22. Yeah, I've always viewed Hurts as a borderline top 10 type of QB. He's not bad but elite? Yeah, GTGOH.
  23. Riding dominant defense and running game. In '22 when they lost the SB they were 5th in rushing yardage and 1st in rushing TDs vs. 9th and 14th in passing yardage and TDs with the #3 defense in yardage and #8 defense in scoring. Last year when they won the SB they were 2nd in the league in both rushing yards and rushing TDs vs. a whopping 29th in passing yardage and 12th in passing TDs with the #1 defense in yardage and #2 defense in scoring. The passing game has been the weak link of the Eagles for the entire Hurts era and when they likely ban the tush push this coming offseason his rushing TDs are gonna fall off a cliff.
  24. Those are team stats. He’s had his moments but is quite clearly not a top tier QB and the team has won partially in spite of him, not because of him. I’d take him any day over Bryce and most other QBs out there but it was always silly when people would put him in the Mahomes, Burrow, etc. tier. I think Herbert is a better QB than him, and he’s not in that top tier either
