And why not one more for good measure
-
And 10 times out of 10 you'd be an unemployed Head Coach or General Manager. But it would be fun to watch Taysom Hill v.2.0 play QB for you, when he should be playing TE or RB.
-
Terrible red zone decision from Reed ends this one.
-
Because I wasn't watching that game and yeah, I'd take Haynes King 10 times put of 10 over the current version of Arch. I've never said he's the best QB in the country, I've said he's the best QB in the ACC. Because he is. That's not a screaming endorsement for ACC QBs. But yeah, I like the dude. He plays his ass off.
-
He slid in the first half on one run where he could've gotten more yardage and I told my buddy "if I'm the Texas coach I'm telling Arch you're not a slider, when you run I need you getting ever yard you can". I don't think he's slid since. When you suck at throwing you better not be sliding.
-
You were telling me King was the best QB in the ACC / in America in this very thread. You're shitting on Arch Manning, who is ten times the QB Haynes King is. Just wondering why you didn't trash Haynes King all afternoon, when he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn when it counted.

Arch "Riley Leonard" Manning
-
I was at the past two games. Nice to see some of these chances get in the net again. I do think we play with a little different energy when Bussi is in net.
-
Yeah, he didn't play well today. Weird comment out of the blue. LOL
-
Where's all the Haynes King love? He was stellar today.
-
I think you gotta put Freddie as the #3. Rod won't do it but he should.
-
Doesn't really change anything other than legitimately get Texas in the playoff conversation and TAMU a bye week by missing the SEC CG. Not a fan of either of those thing so I'm hoping TAMU pulls it off.

I don't give a poo about Manning and generally hate Texas but I'm absolutely down for an upset of this magnitude
-
His second half numbers are gonna look a lot better but he's still playing like ass his receivers are just getting wide ass open. I bet there wasn't a defender within 10 yards of the receiver on his TD and it still required a highlight reel catch to go get it because it was sailing out of the back up the end zone.

Thank you. I had a long, too long post working about how Frank was given a raw deal by posters here. Luck could have hired anyone. He was coached in tne NFL by Frank and thought enough of him to select him as his first hire. Bryce was Frank’s fault. Not Bryce’s. Shitty scheme. That was the talk. We never saw what he would have done because the QB he was forced to use couldn’t execute it. I hear the people who said he was bland and predictable in Indy. Maybe he was. I don’t think Bryce could run that poo though so it’s probably moot. Anyhow Frank was everybody’s original Bryce scapegoat. He is kind of a tragic figure in the sense that I bet he had high hopes and being in Charlotte meant something to him - and he is the fired villain in a colossal clusterfug. I am sure he is fine and probably happier coaching Stanford at this point, just sayin he was often unfairly maligned in the summer and fall of 2023.

Brandon Miller is having himself a night. 25 minutes 25 points. Unfortunately the only reason we're winning is because the Bulls are shooting a dismal 20% from three. With better coaching and some roster changes this could be a competitive team. -
I also get that feeling like he’ll go to grad school or start a hobby farm after this. It just doesn’t feel like he cares like a #1 pick would. I think he genuinely is a talented NFL QB. He’s gotten so much farther than millions of other guys. His performance 2 weeks ago was gutsy and he played to his strengths. He’s shifty, throws his guys open, and can handle NFL level playbooks and defenses. He’s just not good enough. I don’t then he’ll ever start a meaningful game again after this season. His teammates will give up on him and their coach soon if this continues. His arm is very weak, he can’t see the field, he knows he can’t cut it. His accuracy is not good enough to make up for his short comings.
