I’d take Jayden Maiava with a day 2 pick and sit him for a year or two. I love his potential and make-up. There’s a lot to love there….and also enough that needs polish and time to acclimate. I know they both didn’t live in HI at the same time but the respect he and TMac would have for one another could create a wonderful connection long-term.

If that happened with a healthy Young I would be happy to watch Andy mainly due to what it would mean. We could be set free. And I wouldn’t mind Andy getting a shot at a better farewell game than he has right now. If he doesn’t play any more and maybe redeem himself he is going out in a bad way off of that crap he put down a few weeks ago.

Go Michigan! Let’s get some upsets going today

I agree the post is a bit ridiculous and there's so many worse players overall because of off field attributes. Bryce is seemingly pretty likeable off field. But in terms of on field, I would argue he has done more damage to my personal enjoyment of watching Panthers football than any other player because we're 40 games in to it. There are absolutely worse players. Fields may be the only one that's been given more chances, and (I know this is purely subjective) I find him more fun to watch even if he is also infinitely annoying in his inability to put it together. I'd still never say he's my least favorite player. But man, I can barely watch Panthers games these days and I get so deflated when I realize it isn't one of his decent games we get every 5+ games. But at least the D resurgence has me enjoying seeing DB chuck people across the field.

I agree the fact that the FO doubled and then tripled down on this, built the entire team around him and he is still at best the 31st best starting QB in the league makes this way worse than it would have been had he just sucked and everyone acknowledged that and moved on. Now it just gets to a point where you have to wonder why waste your time watching this every Sunday. Imagine a 2 year old coming up to you to tell you a story, and you being actually invested in the plot of the story, the character development etc. Thats what people that continue to watch the BY Panthers look like to me.
-
I'm talking about on the field watchability. Even if Bryce sucked but was still occasionally entertaining I don't think I would have stopped watching in week fuging 1. And I don't think he is a bad person at all either, but that doesn't mean he should continue to be the Panthers QB, and frankly if you compare almost anybody to murders, sociopaths etc that person will come out looking like a great human being.

No one wanted Shane Stichen to come here, that's the guy I wanted. Not like it would have mattered,he was allowed to replace his highly drafted bust QB while we were forced to keep putting ours out there. That's why Tepper can't get any quality coaches and I will die on that hill. Owners should not be making roster decisions, especially decisions on who is starting.
-
Yea none of those guys made me willingly miss Panther games,Bryce has. And I'm not the only one, a lot of us feel this way. He has to go after this season, Idgaf what he does down the stretch ,when the season is over take his football career out back and put us out of our misery I really don't give af that he is all nice and gee whiz golly off the football field. Aww shucks. Mickey mouse looking motherfuger.

Pretty much any other NFL level QB,that's why we only have Dalton and a couple other misfits here and there. Everything about Bryces game is not NFL type poo,he does his own thing and it doesn't work at this level.
-
I would 100% not. He is one of the very few worse than Bryce and actually substantially so. Would have still required a trade up too.
-
I did NOT want young. I was 50/50 on Johnson and still am kinda. He has a really talented roster. He should be 9-3 with the skill they have. The previous coaches were just idiots. Johnson comes across as one of those guys that can lose composure and the locker room fast. Kinda like Jonathan Gannon. Smart guy, seems to doing well so far.

This team would be wise to cut Chuba this offseason. Save 3 million. Dan has spent a ton of resources on RB in his brief time as GM. Chuba contract. 2nd rounder on Brooks. A 4th on ETN. Signed Rico The ONLY thing Chuba provides is solid pass pro. Other than that they’d be better served giving ETN all of his touches Brooks can’t be depended on at this point unfortunately
