  1. Past hour
  2. We definitely overpaid but as long as he's not lined up at NT he's been a starter level player which is a major step in the right direction compared to last year's D-line. Because of his contract he'll definitely be here next year, but I fully expect him to be a cap casualty next offseason. We'd save 15M in cap space if we cut him in 2027. I don't think he sees year 3 of his deal. I'd be open to keeping him around in 2027 but his deal would have to be reworked to a substantially lower number.
  3. Getting left out in favor of less-deserving Alabama is an honor bestowed upon a new team every year. Miami should take pride in back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in decades. As long as this doesn't cripple their program like it did FSU, they should be able to go for another one next year. And, being someone who also likes to see Miami do well but knows its penchant for horribly timed losses, there's a great chance they don't find a way to beat UVa or Duke last night regardless of the matchup on paper.
  4. Truth be told, I just like a 4-3 defense better and I'll just jump in with any chance to make that statement. Seemed like an opportune moment.
  5. How?, We have no 4-3 DEs and struggle to field 2 competent traditional linebackers as is
  6. I feel like we line up with 4 DL a lot. Formations are constantly changing we aren’t a strictly 3-4 just like most of the league.
  7. Bake, help us now, you're our only hope
  8. Today
  9. Trap game. Also, I think Koochie comes back tonight.
  10. Facts. The whole team stopped playing for those goals. Bussi was unbelievable
  11. No one gets it with Hall last night. tonight, Jarvy
  12. Sorry your adopted team is a 20 + year disappointment.
  13. I think this whole team is better situated at a 4-3. He'd benefit, too.
  14. The term “Jordon Hudson coaching tree” isn’t tossed around often enough.
  15. Nick Scott, Im not the biggest fan of. He was decent vs the Rams but I think Byrce has probably had double the amount of good games he's had...which says alot alone. Decent player at times, below average most of the time. He's upgradable as he's still one of our weaknesses on D. Knows the scheme, communicates well and a great locker room guy though.
  16. He's good but we definitely overpaid. I think his biggest problem is positional. Good dude, alotta heart, tough as hell but he should never be inserted at nose tackle. He'd be more effective in a 43.
  17. Nah, 2 great routes/adjustments with 2 great passes. Forbes is their best corner and has been playing very well this season, for a team widely considered to be a super bowl contender and arguably the best team in NFL. Leaving your best man corner on an island with Coker and TMac isn't a mistake. The outcome didn't work out for them in those plays but on paper it should have. If anything, he shouldn't have been beaten deep for TDs by either of them. He's a first round CB that ran a 4.35 at the combine at 6 feet tall. He's not just a guy. He's their Jaycee Horn.
  18. There was no ‘what if’ as in an alternate scenario. No Rico Dowdle strawman scenarios you are imagining. Simply a shoe on the other foot. A perspective. Allowing that to happen once, bad enough. But okay. Learn from it. Allowing it on the heels of the first one? It was was a clear dereliction by LA. We sort of got a free one the second time.
  19. Well the decisions of Tepper and his minions have led to the worst record in sports in the last 8 years. They've been wrong a hell of a lot more than they've been right. I trust my conclusions a hell of a lot more than theirs.
  20. Id rather him and his contract were not on the books here
  21. Bucs are due to poo the bed fingers crossed it carries on for a month
  22. Yeah, the tie breakers are what they are. Duke's non-conference losses don't matter in terms of the conference schedule.
  23. ACC stupidity aside, shout out to Indiana. Everyone thought last year was just one magical run and they turn around and do even better this year. Just shows that hiring the right coach and getting boosters motivated can work for any team. With what's going on with the ACC and Alabama possibly getting left out, what's going to happen is that conference championship games will be eliminated, even if the playoff moves to 16 teams. SEC giveth, SEC taketh.
  24. He's probably referring to the people online mad that Duke was in it instead of Miami. I mean, Miami's the best team in the ACC regardless of tonight's result. But the programs agreed to this set of rules and tiebreakers in advance, the system ended up in Duke's favor and they won a tough game against a favored opponent (by bookmakers and the conference) to win their first ACC title since The Simpsons premiered.
  25. Yeah, I mean all the crybabies like Miami didn't win the games necessary to even be in the same position as Duke and UVa. It wasn't the ACC that was laughable. It was their supposed "strong" teams that became a laughingstock. Miami, SMU, FSU, Clemson, etc.
  26. Who's hating on duke? We're just laughing at the ACC.
