  1. Past hour
  2. We've got a chance. But we're going to work the run game all danged day.
  3. Feasting on the foes again today! It's the Packers today so it's CheddarWurst and potato salad. It just screams Wisconsin for some reason. And Bugles, of course. What about y'all?
  4. This guy is such a complete fuging prick. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/16bh2nLuGq/ Blamed a receiver for running the wrong route on his 4th INT of their first loss and now he's throwing shade at play calling after he seals another loss with another INT where he had all day in the pocket, the pocket was still clean, and he just chose to throw the football to a defender. How can a Miami fan watch this poo and cry about refs? Your problem is this dog poo asshole playing QB.
  5. Packers 31 / Panthers 21 We have a chance to win this, but we don’t do well on the road and it’s one of the toughest places to play.
  6. The truth we all knew has been laid bare. Cam completely carried that moron.
  7. If Rico can get hot early we may have a chance to win and it would be the upset of the Year
  8. Not convinced that it will reach that collapse point, and that is entirely on the fans and consumers of the product. I think there is something real and tangible to the dissatisfaction from fans about how college football operates in particular with this new age of NIL and transfer portal. "There's no loyalty or identity to a school anymore." "Paid employees." "Mercenaries and that's all." Conferences are all done, except for the name. The geography has been obliterated. Historic rivalries are gone and a good chunk of the character of college football has gone with it. Eventually, I see it becoming a set-up akin to how Premiere League Soccer operates, with teams being segregated out. We are very much on that path already. For years and years, it was operated as a free farm league for the NFL. The only thing that has really changed is it is no longer free. Times change, but it does go against the ethos of what college sports are perceived to be about by the public. Despite that, consumption remains high.
  9. Panthers are down by 2 TDs at half. Mike White is brought in in the 3rd and Panthers win by 30
  10. The Dolphins are the example of not tieing a team to an overrated QB who can't carry a team. They were so stacked and watched most of their talent go elsewhere so they could pay a mediocre and hurt starting QB too much money. They looked so good beating up bad teams at their peak and couldn't hang with any of the other playoff bound teams. I wonder if getting tossed aside will wake up their HC or if he continues to struggle elsewhere after his early success. It would be funny if we weren't doing a weaker and dumber version of their build.
  11. It was even worse than that. The following game we were also shutout. Pretty sure. That Green Bay game, then two goose eggs to end the year. Followed by the wonderful first two games of 2024. So 4 straight stinkers. I looked at the box of that GB game a few weeks ago. It was 10 points and around 100-110 yards passing in the first half. He had two TDS the 4th quarter. Around or close to 200 yards passing in the second half. It was mostly a great 2nd half. This year’s Dallas game, he played well or turnover free for 4 quarters, had no numbers really but I thought it was his best game. Along with the Atlanta game at the end of 2024. I think the agreement Bay game was at home too, it won’t be this time. I have to root for him to show something more in these last games because I think they are going to keep him - so he really needs to be better.
  12. I do know. They also aren't desperate.
  13. I don't know that better options were available at the time. We couldn't poach Big Ten or SEC programs. The Big 12 was not weak enough yet to potentially make a poach there reasonable. Not to mention the big fish(Texass, Texass A&M and Oklahoma) wouldn't likely have come unless we basically handed them over the keys to the entire conference budget. I agree that those moves hurt but I don't think there were better options and sitting still was a worse solution. The financial rewards they all reaped were substantial. They only cry and moan about it now because they say "Oh the Big Ten and SEC are more!" Well, those are also the primary drivers of this insanely rapid inflation that is absolutely unsustainable.
  14. Well I mean they are desperate, fire selling, etc and I mean waddle isn’t a Mica Parsons or Christian McCaffery! You never know
  15. I didn't give any amounts, so not really over estimating. He would be an additional investment. Not saying we should or shouldn't do it.
  16. On what planet would they ever consider this?
  17. I think you overestimate the contract Rico would command. If OTC is correct, trading Hubbard would be about $6 mil in dead cap. Not a large chunk.
  18. Right move with the wrong programs. The ACC bet on the wrong horses. The programs they added to bolster football (Miami and VT) were at the tail end of their runs. Their fans will blame the conference change for their downfall conveniently ignoring the dominant run Clemson had in the same conference at the same time.
  19. The money making opportunities will fade. That era is upon us. I have said a collapse is inevitable and I really do believe it. For college atheltics, a drastic collapse will be the healthiest outcome for the sport in the long term.
  20. Today
  21. Mike Shula has destroyed Sellers. Sound familiar?
  22. Tucker Kraft with 7 TDS today. Panthers win a close one off the back of Rico’s 300 yards. Panthers 52 packs 49
  23. Not too certain of predicting a score but pretty certain of the outcome
  24. I’m finishing the red eye back from Baltimore after spending the weekend seeing Billy strings. I am so goddamn hung over I’m cancelling meetings I had scheduled for Monday. If Carolina could just get blown out as quickly and painlessly as possible so I can be asleep by 230 I’d appreciate it
