  1. Past hour
  2. Bryce youngs first year stats 2877 yards 11td 10 ints 5.2ypa 11fumbles With the eye test I think all of them looked better than byoung, looking at first few starts. Panthers have stuck by byoung for 3 years even though its debatable whether they should or not. I think all of them have had moments where they looked just as good as young has, young has had alot more chances to show his moments. If you look at the entire stats of them they are not as good as youngs entire 3 years. Do I want any of them to start for the panthers not at all. Young sucks and they suck. Hopefully young proves me wrong and I eat my words as the panthers go deep into the playoffs.
  3. And as a Hubbard owner my season was shot anyways. By the time he started to come back my season's over.
  4. When Canales says things like this it's typically not very close
  5. I hope we don't rush him back, even in the middle of a playoff push. Not worth losing him for next season too.
  6. Every single team. Maybe not the Bills. MAYBE
  7. Actually the other poster was referencing last season when Rico played for Dallas, he referenced a 49ers game where they held him check as evidence of him slowing down towards the end of last season, but that 49ers game was sandwiched between 2 previous monsters games against Cincinnati and the Panthers and followed by another monster gane against the Eagles. So I just didn't see the evidence of him slowing down. Bottomline we need rushed 40 times against the Rams regarded as the best team in the league and eclipsed 164 yards. We're not capable of beating teams in the air consistently we need a dominant run game not mediocre, not just ok, but a dominant one that keep our defense rested and allows us to take shots in the passing game.
  8. People keep throwing money at the AI growth situation in hopes it will speed things up, get them to the finish line first. And it just doesn't completely work that way. Money helps, but there's a whole supply line issue and programming issue. The problem really is that we create too many business degrees and not enough degrees in the fields that actually make things work. It's ruining a lot of stuff. And yeah, it's going to be a while before anyone can upgrade their stuff. And if you're a gamer... maybe it's time to develop a love for retro systems.
  9. To win a game tomorrow? Or factoring in looking beyond the now. so if I’m the Jets, I view Tyrod as better than Bryce to win a game tomorrow. But if you are looking at anything besides that, no reason not to play over Taylor just to see if Bryce looked different away and if you thought you could do what all teams think they can do with other people’s QBs
  10. College football has zero ability to work together, they are too busy trying actively to rip each others throats out and destroy each others programs. They even do it inside their own conferences, especially the biggest conferences. It's why they are ultimately doomed.
  11. I don't care that they're sitting out the bowl game. Yeah, I'm gonna make fun of them for it but I honestly don't care. What I care about is all the special status treatment they get from everyone from the CFP to the ACC to the media. fug all of that. Just treat them like every other team in the country and if they don't like it then tell them to go fug off. The rest of college football holds way more power combined than ND, it's not even close but they act like ND holds the cards. If the rest of college football told them to fug off and stopped scheduling them it would cause minimal overall drop off to college football as a whole while ND football would die very quickly. What are they gonna do, play community colleges? All the real players are gonna hit the portal and ND would be fielding a team of Rudy's in short order, viewership would fall off because no one wants to watch Rudy's play community colleges, the TV contracts would disappear and ND football would be dead. That's exactly what needs to happen. The rest of college football needs to band together on this one and tell them stop, no more of this bullshit. No more special treatment. The same standards that apply to everyone else apply to you and if you don't like it then you can just stomp off and take your ball and go home... again. Just forever this time.
  12. I couldn't care less if they do. There are entirely too many in the first place.
  13. Possibles(although not definites): Jets Browns Colts(injury related only) Vikings Saints or Falcons is an arguable take but I am very doubtful they would swap their challenging QB situations for ours.
  14. Seems weird. If it's flexed to Sunday Night then it will be an NBC national game for those stations that are just outside the Panthers designated viewing area (you know who you are) that have a choice as to which game to show... they'll likely choose to air the game that is most meaningful rather than some cupcake. And if they choose not to air Panthers and choose to air some other game: CALL THE STATION AND LET THEM KNOW. They can always change back
  15. Well if you want the bowl games to collapse faster sure.
  16. I'd like to see coaches and AP writers (who are largely conference / regionally affiliated) all give each other the "wink wink" to not vote Notre Dame into their top 25s next year during any part of the season. Notre Dame's schedule next year doesn't give them a chance to post a "good win" until Nov 7th vs Miami, assuming Miami is good again. The opening CFP rankings generally mirror the AP / Coaches polls at the time. Would be a nice way to make sure Notre Dame starts at the back of the pack and has as hard a time as possible getting up to 12.
  17. I think that is another problem with Bryce, he has to gain his confidence every game, seemingly.
  18. Eh....this isn't the first time this has happened. The Big 12 fined two teams for doing this, which is more understandable because they share that money in the conference. There is really no harm to ND doing this other than some potential loss in revenue from a TV partner like ESPN. None of us should care about that at all.
  19. Yea, I mentioned this earlier in this thread. BYU gets blown out, drops a spot. Bama gets blown out, doesn't move. OSU loses a close game, drops a spot.
  20. What team you think would swap out there current starting qb for bryce right now???
  21. Offensively Young cant sleepwalk or look like a deer in the headlights he does tend to be hesitant and uneven with pressure he cannot go into his shell No slow starts so same offensive formula that beat the rams. The Saints defense is still good but they are long in the tooth and they will tire defensively, gap integrity and i would do man vs zone i would also have a spy on NO QB, he likes to run, make him pay btw, this team is ascending with Kellen as HC and his 26 year old rookie qb if you cant beat the Saints, take your seat at the kiddies table
  22. No I meant if you opt out of the postseason, you shouldn't be playoff eligible the next season. I didn't mean that it would be a requirement to qualify the previous year.
  23. Interesting topic on the upgrade discussion...list all the teams you think would start bryce over their current QB room right now?
  24. Shits going to be over in two weeks. Falcons are beating the bucs were beating the saints then we are going to boat race the bucs at home and end it.
  25. Its an overdose of the drug called copium that gives hallucinations and delusions that Bryce is somehow a good QB.
