  1. Past hour
  2. If he stays or if he leaves, do you think it'd be a Dan/Dave decision, or (let's hope not) would Tepper have a hand in that say-so? (Still on the hopeful "tepper has been staying out of football operations" train)
  3. I mean.....we have basically been Bryce or bust recently. We currently have both Bryce and Dalton under contract for 2026. Are you that sure we are going to switch that up? You are aware the other QB's we have had on the roster and PS during Bryce's career have been Jack Plummer, Hendon Hooker, Mike White, and Jake Luton? Does that seem very serious about upgrading to you?
  4. Bussi was really good. Not “unbelievable”, given 3 goals in the 3rd even with the team lapse. Don’t get me wrong I want him as our goalie. Opinions, not facts lol.
  5. It's all on the table when crybaby time comes around during college football/basketball season. It's funny that this rarely happens in professional sports because they all know the rules and follow them. The NFL has some wild tiebreaker rules too once you get deep into them, down to a literal coin toss(not making this up). Yet....rarely crybaby poo like this annual cycle that whatever form of the BCS/Playoffs/Newspaper national champion there is. It's genuinely why I hate college football fans so much. Lowest common denominator in major US sports. Anything doesn't go their way and it's a parade of crying and excuses.
  6. The issue is that he is significantly worse than Robinson, who was far, far, far cheaper.
  7. I get that Bama should take a hit for losing to FSU. That’s why they dropped after at loss and had to work their way back up. However, why are we arguing about losses instead of who teams best. That’s insane to me.
  8. Yeah, I was wrong about paying him that money. Dude has absolutely been worth it. Wharton was a panic signing on a bad deal.
  9. INB4 that clown says "BuT, BuT, BuT, wE bEaT fSu. VeRy QuAlItY wIn!!! ThEy LoSt!!!" Despite the fact that Miami would get drug by just about every non-G5 opponent in this playoffs, including Alabama. This is just FSU crybaby poo 2.0, minus the actual logic of being undefeated. You don't get bonus points for losing games you should have won against vs. Louisville and SMU.
  10. Today
  11. Anderson has lost six strait starts....
  12. I understand that you are a Miami fan and want the Canes to get into the playoffs, but why should Bama, who finished the SEC with a 7-1 conference record not have been in the SECCG? Bama’s schedule was not unbalanced amongst SEC teams, at least not in Bama’s favor. Bama played Georgia, Vandy, Missouri, Tennessee, LSU, and Oklahoma, in addition to South Carolina and Auburn, in conference this year. The first four were in back-to-back-to-back-to-back weeks. LSU and Oklahoma were also back-to-back weeks with each of those opponents coming off a bye week the week before playing Bama. What else should they have done to be in the SECCG? Add Texas, coming off a bye, to a back-to back-to-back-to-back stretch of LSU-OU-Texas-Auburn? I get that Bama got a ton of credit for being Bama during Saban’s run. Hell, they earned it and proved themselves to be among the top teams pretty much every time they got into the BCS/playoffs. Do they deserve to be in the playoffs this year? I don’t know. It depends on how you think conference championship games should factor in. An extra game against a top ranked opponent provides an extra opportunity for a loss when other teams aren’t playing in that extra game. The committee has already established the precedent that conference championship losses don’t affect things too much (SMU last year). I agree with that. It should affect overall seeding (IU as #1 with their win against OSU), but I’m not sure it should be used to the detriment of teams who make it those games. That’s such a crappy “reward” for making it to your conference’s championship game. Had someone else won the tiebreaker over Bama, Bama would be on right now.
  13. I think you're going to be surprised by what happens this offseason then. yeah, maybe they pick up the 5th year option. But there is no way they're going to roll into 26 with only Bryce as a legitimate QB. And if he loses the job in camp or preseason, he loses it. The comparison to Mayfield is a huge stretch. Mayfield is a good QB, Bryce is not.
  14. Yeah, they sat down halfway through the third.
  15. We definitely overpaid but as long as he's not lined up at NT he's been a starter level player which is a major step in the right direction compared to last year's D-line. Because of his contract he'll definitely be here next year, but I fully expect him to be a cap casualty next offseason. We'd save 15M in cap space if we cut him in 2027. I don't think he sees year 3 of his deal. I'd be open to keeping him around in 2027 but his deal would have to be reworked to a substantially lower number.
  16. Getting left out in favor of less-deserving Alabama is an honor bestowed upon a new team every year. Miami should take pride in back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in decades. As long as this doesn't cripple their program like it did FSU, they should be able to go for another one next year. And, being someone who also likes to see Miami do well but knows its penchant for horribly timed losses, there's a great chance they don't find a way to beat UVa or Duke last night regardless of the matchup on paper.
  17. Truth be told, I just like a 4-3 defense better and I'll just jump in with any chance to make that statement. Seemed like an opportune moment.
  18. How?, We have no 4-3 DEs and struggle to field 2 competent traditional linebackers as is
  19. I feel like we line up with 4 DL a lot. Formations are constantly changing we aren’t a strictly 3-4 just like most of the league.
  20. Bake, help us now, you're our only hope
  21. Trap game. Also, I think Koochie comes back tonight.
  22. Facts. The whole team stopped playing for those goals. Bussi was unbelievable
  23. No one gets it with Hall last night. tonight, Jarvy
  24. Sorry your adopted team is a 20 + year disappointment.
  25. I think this whole team is better situated at a 4-3. He'd benefit, too.
