Yeah, Tommy Tremble taking a nothing screen pass in OT 60 yards …was legendary play by Bryce lol reality is BY had a very nice 2nd half vs a bad Atlanta team. That changes nothing. If you start bad players over and over and over again…..random good days happen. See Legette.

Nothing Defines the Bryce Young Era Better Than that 4th Down Play
ForJimmy replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah not sure what broadcast everyone was watching but they literally slowed it down and showed Zavala immediately kicking his foot out and planting it on Bryce’s injured ankle. This play was 1000% on Zavala. I’m telling you all it’s easier to just accept it when Bryce plays bad and also accept it when he plays good. Coming at it with some I was right agenda just makes you look silly… -
Fair enough. When they whip our asses and we have a losing record remember your post. Maybe put down the bong.
-
Nah, not yet. All of our losses have been big

Will 5-6 wins be enough for Canales to keep his job?
strato replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
SF might be beatable. I doubt we have much shot vs Seattle or LA Rams. -
It's almost like many Panthers teams of old that we decried as mediocre for not being able to rise above an average record.

I’m not going to lie that game I was stunned we lost. -

That fight is one of my biggest gripes with Canales. They’ve been dogged in some games and the team looks like they just give up, aside from looking very unprepared for a few games this year. Even today it seemed like after the first offensive drive they were searching for answers. I’m not campaigning for Canales to be fired or anything but if the team loses the rest of their games, regardless of how Bryce looks, it would be a bad look either way. -

I’d have to put it this way. Which one has more to overcome? Bryce overcoming Canales’ limitations, or Canales overcoming Bryce’s? My opinion says the latter is most likely. -

Lions offense looks bad tonight.

Burns is an all pro caliber edge rusher . Hard to find those idc what his weaknesses are . get to the QB that’s his number one job Yeah Dj Moore ran lazy routes and low effort at times but he so good he gets away with it idk how he just does . I like tmac more rn . 6’4 and move like a gazelle sign me up every time I hope he’s better but i just pointed these guys out because we hit big on those picks in the first round .

Frankly he's more likely to lose his job if we lose out and Bryce DOESNT turn into a pumpkin. If Bryce goes back to how he's been most of this year, Canales definitely comes back, so long as the team still fights hard. -
If they get a linebacker like Anthony Hill Jr from Texas in the draft, the defense is going to POP.
-
It wasn’t good it was record setting and legendary. When Bryce hoists the Lombardi and MVP trophy later this season remember this moment

We are still the Panthers. Here is what I expect: that ankle swells up and we don’t get to see consecutive weeks. -

This board tells me BY9 is the worst QB in the NFL, biggest bust of all time, and there are multiple backups out there better than him. If that’s true Canales has us with a winning record and in playoff contention mid November. Yes he absolutely is our coach. -
Cerelus was out of position and beaten so many times today it’s a wonder he makes it back to Charlotte. He also rallied and gang tackled when needed. It’s no understatement to say we need Trevin back asap.
-
Burns isn’t a complete player. DJ was very good but at this point T Mac looks better. And he should considering where they went in the draft. But that doesn’t always hold true. CMC, yes you could put him higher and definitely on actual league accomplishments. T Mac does give flashes of HOF quality. So much goes into actually being that and it has to be year after year so… not right now. But the potential is pretty obvious to my way of thinking.

Cool. Point is still the point. BY’s annual good game vs Atlanta is just that. Just like last seasons didn’t change anything

Forget trying to draft a QB in the early first round--it's stupid
PappyMay replied to MHS831's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
I agree with going another position round 1 this year. Also I like Sorsby. Josh Hoover as wells as mid rounders. I just wonder if some big college programs can out bid the contract of a mid round pick. Going to Bama to replace Simpson or Moore at Oregon could be more lucrative sadly. -

Pejorative Miscreant replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes he is IMO. Exactly for the reasons u mention. Hes saddled with a QB that is questionable and managed to a game out of Bryce today no one thought could ever happen. -
I will not hesitate to criticize Dave for his vaginal tendencies; however, he does seem to have to locker room by the ear and I have to respect that. Good job, coach. Good job.
-
We finally saw the potential of what drafting 2 receivers in the first round brings today.
