  1. Past hour
  2. The amount of people I've seen whining and crying about this "dirty hit" on a QB tightroping down the sideline trying to get a first down with no signs of going out of bounds is crazy. https://x.com/i/status/1995669994479518142
  3. I think the qb's being drafted have a lot to do with that. Every one of them has never took a snap from under center. Have you noticed that Canales is putting Young under center more? It has been helping sell that play action and the run game as well. It needs to be a healthy mix to open up the playbook. I'm not sure what the answer is.
  4. I think we're at the part of the season where the proverbial "rookie wall" may be affecting him a little. Don't care though. I'm a hundred percent glad he plays for us.
  5. Mrs. Rhule drafts Chuba Mrs. Tepper drafts Bryce who's the next Mrs to draft someone for this team?
  6. Thoroughly... Jerome Bettis once took part in a game where he had five carries for negative one yard. Did those stats define his importance in that game? I'm always gonna look at the role somebody plays as infinitely more important than their stats.
  7. Finding a college QB that has experience working from under center is basically impossible to find at this point. Hell, even the NFL has become heavy shotgun. Almost two thirds of NFL offensive snaps are out of the shotgun and nearly 70% of from under center snaps are running plays. There are only four teams in the league this year who have ran more offensive snaps from under center than out of shotgun. The Vikings are heaviest in the league from under center at 70%. The Ravens are heaviest in the league out of shotgun at a whopping 96%.
  8. Hell, at least a small portion of our own YAC stats have been contributed by a guy we'd all like to see replaced. I'll repeat my own broken record statement once again...I'm just not that concerned with stats.
  9. You have to pay him. Joe Thomas he is not, but he's the best LT we've had in well over a decade.
  10. Mendoza is probably the most accurate under pressure of the group coming out. I like his composer which will help tremendously in the nfl. But he works solely from the shotgun just like all the rest. Moore, from the little bit I've watched can sling it but he's irradic under pressure. Most of these guys coming out are. Sellers? Lol, just no.
  11. I knew it was someone up the chain of command. It was a steal for DM, even if he is just adequate. Finding players that can come in and play without losing too much. Hunt is a very difficult player to out play.
  12. You can try, but it won't actually matter. Every single team in the NFL has weak spots, even the best teams. The "weak links" are still (rightly) given credit for their role in big wins, just like the best players on roster aren't exempt from blame for losing efforts... ...because it's a team sport. Acting like our team profile is somehow worse off isn't realistic for one... very... simple... reason. We have... a winning record. Are we gonna try to improve our weak spots? Of course. So is everyone else. But if you think the people in charge of those decisions look at Bryce the same way you do, I'd say you're in for a very rude awakening.
  13. My opinion, Chubba used to play the same way. When he saw Rico doing it he realized that he wasn't running the same way he was before he got hurt.
  14. True, but those aren't the guys getting the YAC. This was just in reference to that across the league.
  15. Brotha a dot is just a perfect throw. That’s all it means. It’s a pass that’s on the fugin’ money. Typically would be used on more tight window/intermediate throws or deep balls. The touchdowns to Coker And Tmac were dots, almost any football fan would agree Comparing people calling those passes dots to people saying Bryce can’t throw 5 yards is just nonsensical. One is objectively wrong, the other is subjective
  16. I'm very suspicious when there's two guys considered elite NFL prospects in the same college unit. The way it usually plays out is one of them was being carried by the other one and only one of them pans out to be a legit top tier NFL player. Not always, but usually.
  17. We're not immune from that either. Our O-Line has been battered more than a Long John Silvers fish filet.
  18. The only yards I care about are the ones past the goal line.
  19. That's why I've been pretty adamant I want Bryce to either really, really succeed and become the franchise QB we all hoped he would be after he was drafted, or really really fail and we could cut him and move on. Those numbers scare the bejebus out of me and with Tepper being involved in the big decisions, it makes it even more nerve wracking. This up and down, good week, bad week, winning in spite of a bad day for Bryce, is just about the worst thing we could have had happen. Seeing what Arizona paid Kyler and they're ready to walk away and be done feels like staring into the future right now if things continue along the same pattern of good week, bad week.
  20. I get what you're saying with this, but I think it's a little overstated. I'm happy with most of the guys you named. What I'll agree with though is that yes, Young has shown legitimate improvement in his passing and that progress should not be minimized, ignored or dismissed.
  21. I feel as though anything like that is at least a year away.
